BronyPony 575 July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 (edited) Welcome to the Pro-Rationally Equal Genders Thread This group promotes non-promotion of any gender. It promotes blindness to gender itself. There isn't much to say because it is a group that opposes both feminism and masculinity(is that's what it's called?) in gender roles. It also opposes gender roles of all types. It opposes pride in one particular gender. It is the RATIONAL way of looking at gender, which is to ignore gender rationally rather than irrationally. (No, this not a women-hating group or men-hating group. It is a group that supports looking at biological gender rationally rather than through a politically-correct agenda viewpoint). NOTE: I do not agree with all of the points in the video, it address many of the problems that exist in a promoted group. This thread is a response to another thread that was created. I am not against the users in that thread, but I am against the idea of promoting any gender at all. I feel genders should not be looked upon rather than the person themselves. Instead of looking at the issue of gender, it should be looked upon as the people themselves. Gender should be something we look blindly to besides biologically. We should rationally look at gender instead through political agendas and politically-correct viewpoints. We must realize men and women have their limits to their gender, realistically. No, I am not arguing women have smaller brains, or men are smarter than women. I am arguing that women have breasts, men have different sexual organs, etc. etc. Is no one interested in this kind of movement? I think it would prevent a sense of gender superiority having a sense of no gender promotion. Edited July 17, 2014 by BronyPony
IceeBrony 251 July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 (edited) Gender equality, gender blindness, and others tend to get swept up in other movements. Equal gender rights often get subsumed under feminism and trans-rights often get lumped into LGBT rights. All it really is, in my opinion, is in-fighting. We all want to be treated equally, so why the bickering? To paraphrase Bruce Lee, "If people say [it] is different from 'this' or from 'that,' then let the name of [it] be wiped out, for that is what it is, just a name." IceeBrony 251 July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 That's sort of what i was getting at. "Feminists" tend to believe in equality. But because they chose that name, it sounds exclusive. Same with LGBT (and similar), it seems to exclude the un-named groups. "Humanitarians" or "egalitarians," on the other hand, seem to not be focused enough in some demographics. At least not enough for some people. It's like a bunch of people standing around a square arguing over what it should called: "It's a square!" "No, it's a rhombus!" "Quadrilateral!" "Parallelogram!" "Rectangle!" I guess I'm saying, it's all the same movement. Just the wording is slightly different. Me? I say we're all just people, deal with it (if i ever run for a political office, that would be my slogan )

Admiral Regulus 2,769 July 17, 2014 Share July 17, 2014 (edited) <sarcasm> What is this equality you speak of? That's the most insane thing I've ever heard. You have to be a complete idiot to believe that people of both genders should somehow be equal and treated fairly. </sarcasm> Edited July 17, 2014 by Regulus 2 Tumblr
