Equestria has been at war for millenia, dating back far before recorded history. The ponies use the elements to fight their battles, learning new ways to improve their lives and help the war effort. The Princesses, the only beings known that are able to bend all four elements at once, had taken an oath to protect the land. But eventually that erupted into all out civil war. Nopony know for sure what the war is about but they don't care anymore. They were just glad their rulers have made a cease fire. Agreeing to use their powers to quite literally split the country in half.

With the two new kingdoms, the ponies go about their lives in normality in the New Luna Republic and The Solar Empire. Canterlot being the only neutral land left, two ponies will soon discover a sinister plot to see both countries destroyed, the princesses killed, and the only pony capable of saving these lands from darkness.

Draco laid back in the canoe naping. He snored slightly as he napped inside it. His friend Demo Reel rowing. "We there yet?" Draco asked as he awoken slightly. "Do you need help?" he asked as he looked at Demo Reel. "If not I'll continue my nap. And also Reel you need a girl,"

The tan earth pony looked up from his rowing. He found something in his families attic and he "persuaded" Draco to come along with him in exchange to let him meet some movie mares when he went to his next trip to Los Pegasus. "I'm fine. I can row just fine dude. And what do you mean I need a mare? I've met plenty of mares. They were... just... things were complicated. Yeah, complicated."

"You can't get a mare to save your life," Draco said jokingly. "Of course I mean nothing mean by it dude," Draco said as he waved his hand. Draco was an outcast by the peaceful Pegasi. He had a natural talent for molding his wind  into weapons. like a whip made to slice. He was exiled for letting his anger get a hold of him. He didn't need to tell his friend Demo. Demo felt the attack when they were children during a spar went wrong. It took weeks for Demo Reel to get Draco out of his room. Ever since then Draco promised himself to control his anger but also to protect his best and only friend.

A river that was created almost seventy years ago. If he was correct, the map they found should lead them to a cave. "And what about you? Where's your mare? Draco shook his head. "All of them were just shallow mares after one thing. money," Draco said as he sighed. "You may think I'm lucky in love but that is wrong," Draco said as he looked around. "Ah well that one mare Fleur had a pretty nice flanks. Too bad she is married,"

"Indeed. I saw her too and I admit, was really jealous when I saw that. She had a nice rack as well and she was a real sweetheart. But she was married and that is the bane of most single stallions." He had finally saw the cave at the base of the mountain. It was a bit high up but not an issue.Rowing up to the wall, Demo struck the mountain a few times as a staircase erupted forward for him. "So, what are you looking for in a mare anyway?" He ask with one hoof on the first step.

A ball of wind in his hand just incase they needed some 'fire' power or maybe a drill. If only the pegasi wasn't so full of their peaceful ideology that they can see the many ways you can use wind.

Looking into a bag, he brought out a torch and lit it with ease. Illuminating the cave. He could see small traces of crystal figures and continued onward.

"So what are we up to here?" Draco asked as he looked at Demo. He chuckled slightly "Maybe maybe but anyhow you didn't really tell me what we are doing here dude," Draco said as he released the wind. He wondered what it was like before the continental split.

Demo pulled the crystal as a doorway on the floor opened up, showing a long spiraling stair case. "Simple really. I just found it." He shrugged and began walking downward. The torch was a huge help. The stairs were made from wood and heavily aged. What ever is down here must be old and due to the dust, he could tell nopony has been here in a long time. Giving him hopes that whatever is down here is still here.

The stairs were made from wood and heavily aged. What ever is down here must be old and due to the dust, he could tell nopony has been here in a long time. Giving him hopes that whatever is down here is still here.

Draco sneezed and when he sneezed he hit the roof of the cave "Motherbucker," Draco muttered as he looked at the thing. "So destroyit?" Draco asked as he held out his hand a shuriken of wind formed in his hand. He smiled slightly joking of course at that he knew the answer

"Destroy it? I'm not going to destroy it, I'm going to claim it." After some walking, they had made it to the bottom, only a few close calls on the stairs the found another archway and it lead into a chamber with a gleaming crystals. Ones that didn't need light to glow. But what he saw sitting int he middle made his jaw drop. In the center of the room was a large orange crystal, inside was a mare sitting patiently with her eyes closed as a large purple Dragon encircled her. "Dude. I don't think I can give this to a mare?"

"Destroy it? I'm not going to destroy it, I'm going to claim it." After some walking, they had made it to the bottom, only a few close calls on the stairs the found another archway and it lead into a chamber with a gleaming crystals. Ones that didn't need light to glow. But what he saw sitting int he middle made his jaw drop. In the center of the room was a large orange crystal, inside was a mare sitting patiently with her eyes closed as a large purple Dragon encircled her. "Dude. I don't think I can give this to a mare?"

Draco chuckled slightly "Jeez," Draco said as he looked at the crystal. "Definitely interesting. Maybe she's alive aye?" Draco asked as he pressed a ball of wind against the crystal grinding into it. Then pulled away then went back to work grinding into the crystal slowly.

Demo saw Draco trying to break the crystal with his air. A futile attempt really. Walking up to the large gemstone, he gave it a slight tap. Right where he struck it, a crack began to form and soon after began to spread and eventually shatter the stone. The mare lay before them, still encircled by the purple reptile.

"Smartass," Draco said as he looked at his friend. He clicked his tongue his pride wounded slightly. "Well she is cute but she looks like a book worm just like you," Draco said jokingly as he looked at the mare and then checking out her flanks. He gave a whistle. "Finely toned almost like both Luna and Celestia,"

As she did, Demo noticed something odd. She had a horn and wings. It was truly baffling since the only known alicorns were Celestia and Luna. Who ever this mare was, it had peaked his interests.

"Normally I would question my sanity but I think we may need to concentrate on this unconscious dragon right now," Draco said as he looked to both the mare then the dragon. Let's go shall we?" Draco said as he looked nervous.

The mare and dragon were now awake. The female unfurled her wings and stretched her limbs. Her violet coat glowing in the light as the dragon got up and did the same. The two finally saw Demo Reel and Draco. They were unsure what to make of the two males. "Um... Hi." The violet one said with caution.

"You know Demo i really hate you sometimes you know that right," Draco said as he sighed. He looked to the mare "Hello," Draco said as he looked at her "Another alicorn?" Draco whispered to his friend. He wanted out of this place now so he could get back to what he does best.

Demo registered Draco's confusion as they were about to get an explanation. "M-My name is Twilight Sparkle. Can you tell me what year it is?" Demo was the first to come forth. "Its currently the seventh decade of the fifth era." Twilight began to calculate on how long she has been encased in the gemstone. The dragon just watched over them in case they were attacked.
