I want some help budgeting for a better PC(GAMING)

Corsair 600w CX bronze certified.

I'd suggest you dump that psu not because of it's wattage but I've read that they're unreliable psu's that tend to die pretty frequently for PSU's. As for wattage, depending on your build but 600-700 watts should be enough I believe. You'll want a 700w Seasonic psu at least (top PSU manufacturers, in fact some of the top Corsair PSU's are made from those guys).

The editing is only when I record gameplay. That's why I have more than 8GBs of RAM

In light of this I put together a new build, it's a little over budget though.

Excluding my monitor, keyboard and stuff like that. Some components went down in retail value. My build was from 2012. The psu is cheap now.

So what are your thoughts on the build I put together for you?

It's great budget planning and I appreciate it. But I'm only swapping the video cards because the other parts are still useful and I can get a lot out of them.

I don't think 650 watts is enough for the 780 card.
