"Hey lightweight...how ya holding up. I mean if you can't handle a. simple prank, I'm surprised you can properly in society at all", he said creating a bundle of cheery bombs under his chairs. Only, unbeknownst to Book, they were no mere illusions.

"Oh, Echo's back..." He mumbled to himself. "Gee Echo, I didn't know you liked teasing ponies who like to help!" He said, unamused at Echo's name calling. He considered name calling back but decided not to do it. Book sighed a bit and looked at Echo, not really liking how he was there.

"Really?" Book asked, scooting the chair out to see. He watched as Deja Vu moved the cherry bombs away and looked confused. What in Celestia's name was he doing and why is Echo saying there- OOOOHHH! It was a prank of something, wasn't it? Book thought, still looking a bit confused.

"He does not understand the fact that pranks have a clear limit and a point that you should not cross with them. Giving ponies heart attacks or blowing their faces off is definitely exceeding that limit", she said hating that Echo was trying to him Book. "As for a reason why he would go so far is he may simply not like you for some reason".

Book noticed she was doing her best to try an keep Echo away. "What else is there to talk about to keep him away?" Book asked, assuming she didn't want Echo over here again either, especially in a restaurant, even if it was a casual restaurant that other ponies were talking in.

Book payed attention and when he asked if she should go, he shook his head. "N-no! Please stay, I was just thinking." He said. He mentally pictured the poor fellow who got half his face blown off from the 'prank'. Book winced a bit after he pictured it and regretted that he pictured it.

Just forget what I told you about them and enjoy Echo's blissful absence, can you accomplish that", she asked coning off mote rudely than she had meant.

"Yeah. I think I can enjoy Echo not being here at the moment." He sighed happily. He had a feeling Echo would come back any moment but tried to enjoy the moment he was having right now without Echo. He smiled at Deja Vu. Book tried his best to forget about the mean pranks.

Deja Vu smiled at his response and sighed quietly. She was just enjoying the absence of Echo and her time she was spending with Book Quill wondering what the point of sitting around in the restaurant was but chose to keep quiet so she wouldn't upset him.

Book happily enjoyed Echo not being there. "S-so what do we do now?" Book asked, unsure if she was in the mood for talking or not, taking a risk. He watched her, feeling awkward. He forced a small smile, trying to still seem friendly and wanting to still hang out with her.

"Is that so... what about me is so interesting, then....and just so that you cannot return the question to me, what I find interesting about you is that you can actually put up with Echo and I. Not many ponies are willing to....and there is also the fact that you have a decent degree of intelligence and as far as appearences go, youre pretty well off", she said still blushing a bit and nudging his head up so he was looking at her properly.
