My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie

How did you find MLP Forums?: Believe it or not, on Google

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Two years ago, an asian friend of mine talked to me about the show, but I scoffed itNow, some weeks ago, I stumbled on this fenomenal cover of This Day Aria made by Caleb Hyles, and I found the song pretty amazingSo I watched the two episodes of Princess Cadence weeding, felt in love with the songs, started watching the show from the beginning, cried a lot when Pinkie Pie cried, felt in love with the way the shows teaches lessons even adults are still struggling to learn... I mean, it is perfect, how could I not love this?!Also, I used to watch the first generation of it, but remember very little about it

I'm a kinda lost in life 22 year old Brazilian male guy, who studied piano for eight years but stopped playing (and regrets it).

I'm also finishing my first book, but it is in Portuguese, so no one will hear about it forever a while.

I like shows like Hey Arnold, Avatar: Legend of Aang and Korra, Sherlock and, believe it or not, Game of Thrones.

I also like talking to random people I meet anywhere I go, like bookstores or internet forums :)

And I bake awesome chocolate cakes, that's all y'all

See ya :)

Welcome to the herd and the forum! I would LOVE to try one of your chocolate cakes!

Don't worry about being lost. I'm almost 30, and I'm still searching for my place in this world. The most important thing is to keep on moving forward and keep being true to yourself and what you believe in. The rest will fall into place, I just know it. :D  In the meantime, you'll make plenty of friends here.

Being lost is incredibly natural in life. It can be frightening and overwhelming but I think Samurai has the right idea. You have to find what you like, find a goal, and pursue it. If you stick to things you like, things that are true to yourself, and expand on that you can only grow as a person.

I'm jealous of your piano training by the way.

Anyway I would properly welcome you but I'm not sure that's entirely appropriate since I literally just made an account as well. I think that this is a good place for us all to find ourselves, however.

They're not something to be jealous of, as a matter of fact, I despised them for a major part of my life... I've been idle about it for so long I'm having to start from scratch (... am I choosing the right words? I really hope I do, sometimes it terrifies me to write stuff in English)

By the way, thank you ponies for the insight on being lost in life :)
I really started to feel like a Cutie Mark Crusader after starting watching My Little Pony, which is awesome, just like you two

Oh, so can I welcome people here even though I'm new as well?
THAT IS AWESOME <Pinkie Squeals>

You're doing great, actually. Most non-native speakers who are new to forums struggle to make comprehensible messages. I have trouble properly empathizing with trying to write in a language that is difficult for me but I imagine if you ever need help you can probably simply ask for it and people will be willing to try.

I wouldn't say my advice was all that insightful just because it's so general. The issue is most people, in my experience, do not even have that starting point. People do all sorts of things they do not like for many reasons. And what we like isn't always viable to do all the time. But many people have interests in things that have their own field and their own community and the first step to not being "lost" is to know what you like.

As for welcoming, I don't really think you can properly welcome people. I'm being a bit unorthodox myself, but I just like chatting in general so I thought it'd be worthwhile to post here!

Where would be the appropriate section for me to upload pictures of my cakes and make all of you go all Pinkie Pie style over them?

And trust me, the only reason my messages don't feel like a 2 years old babbling is because this isn't the first English speaking forum I join :X

Is there a chat in this forum, or a place for bronies talk? I'd love that *-*

AND A PARTY! I NEED A PARTY! I'M FREAKING PINKIE PIE FROM THE ROCK'S FARM FOR PONY'S SAKE

Why, thank ya. My OC has a lot in common with Pinkie and such. Squidi made me my OC, you can check out her work here: http://mlpforums.com/topic/105592-free-mlp-sketches/.

I will suppose OC stands for Avatar... you see, English is not my first language and some terms are still... obscure at best for me, but thanks! I'm really enjoying Squidi's work
