So that Scar and the gang aren't smoked, Gandalf is off smoking pot or something. Can Scar and the hyenas finish off the company?

I can assure you, after watching the Hobbit, the Dwarves can sure as hell stand there ground, so I say Thorin and his men

That's basically bringing an army of orcas to attack a few sharks. Hyenas have incredibly strong jaws and can run as fast as a lion. Since these ones are very intelligent, they can kill the dwarves even easier than a normal hyena pack of at least 80 members. And normal hyenas are already very intelligent, some people say they're as smart as bears or even chimps.

 

And how many were there in Scar's domain? At least a hundred, if not more.

And as for hyenas, I love em', but even so, it takes about 11 hyenas to beat one lion without at least one of them dying

I'd say the dwarves can kill at least 20 real hyenas without being injured. The hyenas from the Lion King are human-level intelligent, but they're overall not too smart when it comes to killing. Three had trouble catching 2 lion cubs, that's pathetic.

That's a bad example, they were toying around, it wasn't until Shenzi got her face scratched that they went for the kill

There isn't a scene in this movie I dislike.
