Would Cadance and Shining Armor be teachers or students?

Would Cadance and Shining Armor be teachers or students? In Equestria Girls, Big Mac is shown to be a student, and so is Cheerilee who is implied to be the same age as Big Mac, and is actually a teacher in canon. (though in the library scene in the first movie, she seems to be more of a teacher, though a student proctor job is very possible.) I've read EQG stories where they're students, just upperclassmen, and a story where they're teachers. (Shining Armor, a gym coach, and Cadance, the teacher of an unspecified class.)

That is arguable actually.

 

Big Mac was never shown to be a student. All we saw was him carry in drinks for Applejack, which doesn't really tell us anything. I always thought he was a just there for the time being to help out Applejack. Maybe in EqG2 we will find out officially though. 

 

 

 

and so is Cheerilee who is implied to be the same age as Big Mac, and is actually a teacher in canon. (though in the library scene in the first movie, she seems to be more of a teacher, though a student proctor job is very possible.)

 

I think it's pretty much confirmed Cheerliee is a teacher from this scene: 

 

 

 

 

 

All that being said, I would think Shining Armour and Cadance would be teachers, not students. ( Cadance possibly being something higher than a teacher since she is a princess. )

@ MegaJack we also see him sitting with a group of students and dancing with AJ at the fall formal. and in a preview for Rainbow Rocks, we see him being photographed by photo finish, and carrying a backpack, so he's probably a student. as for that scene with cheerilee, students going up with textbooks and writing on the board is definitely not uncommon.

Honestly y'all in my opinion I can see shinning armor as a security guard and Candance, probably a counselor. But that's just my opinion.

I agree very much on that. Shining Armor would most likely be a security guard or one of the many school hall monitors. And I can see Cadence as a school counselor.

I think Big Mac is probably college aged and goes to school somewhere nearby. We see him around the school because he picks his little sisters up.

 

Otherwise him spending time with Cheerilee would be incredibly inappropriate...

Well, if Luna and Celestia are teachers/Principals, it only makes sense that Cadance is too!

And as for Shining Armour, He can be a teacher.

Seeing as they're supposed to be older than the mane 6, I'd say they'd most likely be teachers.

Especially so if they're "married" so, they must be adults already!

Well big mac is shown eating in the cafateria several times in the movie. I dare any college aged man to do that, and count the seconds until the police arrive.

at 15 seconds he is shown eating in the cafateria during school hours.

 

And as for what they would be, with their positions as rulers and guardians of the crystal empire in the main non-terribad show I could see them being some form of electives teachers, with Cadance teaching the home ec and shiny being a secondary gym teacher. At least, that is what I would have them do. As it would play towards the strengths of both their characters, and the physical appearance of them.

 

 

However, this is EqG were the eternal ruler of the moon is a vice principle at a highschool. So I would not be surpised if they too were students.

Yeah, Big Mac is probably a student then. I still do think Cheerilee is a teacher though. It would just be very unlikely for her to be a student, yet every time we see her, she is doing teacher-like things.
