*That was it, he saw a blue figure come shooting out of the sky and land somewhere in town.* "Is it over? Did she shut the place down?" *He asked himself. He looked at the clock and saw it was lunch.* "Perfect." *He said to himself, and walked out towards to where he thought he saw Storm land, near the café.*

Storm was sitting at the same table they were at the day before playing with a rainbow lightning bolt to try and calm herself down from what she had just done. She thought she saw Blue outside and she noted that she was a lot more mellow when he was around so she went to check and sawchim by the cafe. "Hey Blueberry, hows it hanging", she asked trying to sound casual like she hadn't just gutted a factory.

*He walked up to her and just stood there, utterly confused.* "I... You... Barrier... Lightning... WHAT!?" *He said, putting his hooves up to his temples.* "What did you DO to that place!?" *He said in a harsh whisper, not wanting any others to hear.* "First I see lightning going throughout the area, when there's no storm for this week, and then I hear the sound barrier break, but no rainbow after glow, so it couldn't be a rainboom, so... just... WHAT!?"

"Heh....lets just say I tore the place up. As for the lightning...I bailed and a couple dudes followed me so I just took them out....and the sound barrier thing....just my own version of Dashie's Sonic Rainboom...just better because it has physical resonance instead of just pretty colors".

*He brought up his hoof to his face.* "So you're telling me, that your plan was to go in... and tear the place up and, from what I'm guessing, kill everyone working in Rainbow Production?" *He asked, worried about the answer, but wasn't stupid enough to think she would answer no.*

"Um..yeah. But also kind of no...so it really lore or less depends on your interpperentation of everyone. And it worked. Don't worry I know there were a couple who didn't deserve to die at I evacuated them in secret beforehand, Blueberry", replied figuring he wouldn't have any.more complaints left to throw at her.

*He proceeded to grab her shoulders and shaker her back and forth.* "ARE YOU CRAZY!? You could have killed yourself! Yes it needed to be done, but... GAH!" *He wrapped her in a hug.* "You had me worrying damn it!" *He pulled away.* "Sorry, had to get that out." *He coughed and lightly blushed.*

She looked at him stunned for a moment. "Blue, I'm sorry to make you worry but think of it this way. What's more important...the life of fucked up mare or the lives of countless innocent fillies and colts", she asked pointedly. "And if were to die, it wouldn't have been a big deal, much less a problem".

"I know, I know." *He said, a little quieter.* "But now think of when someone discovers the entire lower part of the weather factory completely destroyed and dead workers everywhere. How is ANYONE going to explain that to whoever gets involved, whether it be the guard, or Princess Celestia herself!?" *He then did a double take on what she said.* "Wait, fucked up mare? I don't think you're screwed up in any way."

"Really, I just went and massacred the entire fucking factory...and you think I'm not fucked up...that I'm normal, seriously", she asked him with an air of surprise. "And the machines and bodies wont be there for very long, I have somepony ready to clear the whole mess up".

"Wow, okay one: you're good, getting someone to clean it up. And two: Normal?" *He laughed.* "Absolutely not! Nopony is normal, I just think that doing what you did was the right thing. Just really really really reckless! And damn it, it worked! Although I would have chosen a more peaceful course of action, but either way, it worked." *He said.*

She hugged him lightly and giggled a bit. "I tried to do it peacefully...really I did...I took my evidence and bailed...that's when they chased me to the forest and I went offensive...I had no choice", she said thinking she might have gone too far with shutting down the factory.

"Well, I'm just glad you didn't get grounded up into a rainbow." *He shivered st the thought of be crushed and mauled, just to be used as a decoration.* "And wait, you went to the forest?" *He asked.* "Why'd you do that? Something important back there?" *He asked, quite confused.*

"Aw, hell...I already told you about the factory. I guess this can't hurt. Follow me", she said flying towards the Everfree Forest. "You wont believe me otherwise, I gaurantee it". She landed at the Castle of the Two Sisters and waited for him to catch up to her before knocking.

"Well alright then." *He said as he took off and followed her towards the Everfree. As the went deeper and deeper, he started to get an idea of where they were going. When she saw her land, he landed next to her.* "The castle of the two sisters? What are we doing here?"

"This is where I was headed when I bolted out the window. To hide away the evidence for a few till their suspicions died down. Anyway.....", she said pounding on the door. "Hey, Old Man, let me in", she yelled just as it opened. "You coming", she asked Blue before trotting in and racing the the top.

"Um, yeah." *He said, still confused what she meant by 'old man'. He ran up the stairs to go catch up with her to see what in what she was talking about.* "Does she have a relative living here?" *He whispered to himself, wondering who could be living here in the abandoned castle of Celestia and Luna.*

She led him to to a door locked with a large ciclular lock that opened when she approached. Standing behind was a tall black unicorn who had piercing white eyes and half of his horn missing. "Good marrow to you, Strong Strafe".

*As the door opened up, he saw the unicorn, and saw a part of his horn gone. He mentally cringed just thinking about how painful that might have been, like losing half a wing.* "Ouch." *He whispered to himself.* "So uh, Storm, not to be rude, but, who is this?" *He asked her.*

"This is my (13x) great grand fatherv I mentioned earlier. Old Man Dusk Shade", she said chuckling. Dusk sighed inwardly at her nickname. "Storm...I've asked time and time again not to call me that, haven't I", he asked with an eyebrow raised. "Well yeah but when you're over a thousand years old, what else can I call you"?

"Wait, a thousand years!?" *He said in disbelief.* "How could you be alive for a thousand years, unless you were an Immortal Alicorn like the Royal Sisters?" *He asked, wondering how any of this made sense. He was surprised, to say the least a normal Unicorn was able to survive that long.*

"I happen to be alive because they want to be. You see, I serve as the elite Knight and guard of Princess Luna. I am to live as I am needed by her due the bond that holds me in her service not that I am displeased with my lot in life", he explained surprised Storm had brought anypony with her.

Well anyways, my name is Blue." *He greeted with a smile.* "So, what do are you doing up in the abandoned castle of the two sisters, if you don't mind me asking." *He said, a little intimidated by the ancient unicorn, as he is with most others with first greetings.*

'Somepony has to be here to protect the Tree of Harmony, don't they" he said with a shrug. "And I know my tale does not make complete sense but I cannot hoof out the entire story", he explained while Storm was messing his stuff out of boredom and because she knew it annoyed him.

"Oh, it makes sense to me." *He said with a shrug.* "I mean, of course someone needs to protect that tree, in case something like what happened with those vines happens again." *He shivered in the memory.* "So you've been here protecting the Tree for all this time?"
