*He raised an eyebrow with a small smile.* "Heh, all right dear, if you say so." *He said, noticing a small hint of blush on her cheeks as she turned her head.* "Huh, I guess she was just flustered, that's a bit different for her." *He thought to himself as they walked into downtown Ponyville.*

Storm looked at him quizzically after he called her'dear' and scowled trying to hide her flustered feelings. 'Why the hell can't I just ignore his antics....he never gets to me...not like this...and without even trying....what the hell', she mentally scolded herself as they walked, her tail swshing a bit as she sneaks glances at him.

*He felt Storms tail brush against his leg, smiled and interlocked his tail with hers, passing it off as if it was normal as they continued to walk. As they were walking it got a bit darker and the lampposts came on.* "Hmm, I guess its the evening now, wanna get something to eat?" *He asked Storm.*

Storm kept oddly quiet as they walked and noded with a quiet response of confirmation to his question. "Where you wanna..um..where do you want to go", she asked quietly as she unwound her tail from his just trying to take time for once since she had sort of rushed things in their relationship.

*He looked around at the surrounding buildings and saw a little diner that only had a few other ponies in it.* "Here seems nice, not too many ponies." *He said, as he guided them into the diner.* "Hey Storm." *He added with a calmer voice.* "You seem a little more quiet than normal, you sure you're alright? I know I already asked but I just want to make sure." *He said, hoping she wouldn't get annoyed with the repeated question.*

Storm looked at him and nodded with a course smile. " I am fine...just don't to rush things anymore....I mean, I know we have already rushed into things...but I don't want too...I want to take the time to enjoy things..like...a couple of nights ago....that dinner with the candle and the wine..it was nice...I want more nights like that", she said with embarrassment in her face.

*Blue thought back to how their relationship went the past few weeks and realized things had been rushed. He smiled and nodded his head.* "I see what you mean, I'll be sure not to rush things from here on." *He said. He went up to the waiter and got them a table, a booth for two at the window near the back of the diner.*

Storm smiled at his response and followed him into the restaurant, thanking the waiter rather politely, at least in comparison to her usual tone and attitude. She sat across from him at the booth, smiling before lifting her menu to hide her blush from him.

*Blue lifted his menu, smiling because of Storm hiding from him behind her menu. While he browsed the menu, the waiter cam by to get drinks. Blue ordered a simple water and began to look at food to eat.* "Hmm, what looks good to eat to you Storm?" *He asked her from over his menu.*

Storm mumbled something not to be heard in public before ordering a water as well, trying to behave since it was a pretty upstanding establishment. She skimmed over the menu and sry it down with a smirk. "Let's test your ability to know a mare's preference", she offered. "Surprise me", she finished though the way she said 'preference' sounded a bit dirty for a public environment.

*Blue's ears flattened against his skull and his eyes widened.* "I-I uh uh." *He began to stutter.* "Shit! I have no clue what a mare's preference is, let alone Storms!" *He though to himself in a panic as he picked up the menu again, skimming through the dishes, thinking what she might like.*

Storm just smirked at him after a quick apology to the waiter for the wait on their order, but she refused to give in a choose. She wanted to see what he would choose for her, even a ballpark guess would be decent, since whenever they were at her place they had had some form of pasta, so she figured he could guess something she liked.

*He looked up at Storm when she smirked at him.* "H-hey! Not funny! I don't know your preferences are, let alone any mare's!" *He retorted quickly in a frantic voice.* "At least give me a hint please?" *He asked, hoping he would get a little out of her to help make this easier.*

"Really", she asked him in a slightly mocking tone. "When you cine yo my place, what do I cook", she asked simply as she returned her gaze to the menu, eyeing the image of a elegant pasta, latlyered in a bright red sauce with a wonderfully colored salad accompanying it.

*Blue thought about what she had said for a few seconds before it had clicked in his brain. A few moments afterwards, the waiter showed back up to take their orders.* "For me I'll take some baked potatoes and for the lady the spaghetti." *The waiter nodded and took their menus and trotted away.* "So dis I get it right?" *He said with a sheepish smile.*

Storm just smirked at him again with a wink. "Yep. Got it....but what's with the 'lady' stuff", she asked before shaking her mane and tail into unruly messes, leaning back in her chair, trying to be as unladylike as she possibly could, her attemtps to behave now abandoned.

*He giggled when she started to mess up her mane and tail.* "Oh that was just a formality, for the waiter, other than that no real reason. I hope that's alright." *He said with a smile, looking at her disheveled mane.* "Oh you and your mane, no matter how you style it, clean or messy it still looks great on you."

She nodded back at him as she let her chair hit the floor after she finished leaning on it, looking at him with a smirk, the thoughts in her mind a bit improper for such a 'lady' but she didn't care. They were no worse that things he and her had done, simply messing up her main had thoughts thoughts of when they had spent the nights at her house.

*Blue noticed the smirk she was giving him and raised an eyebrow and smirked back.* "What's got that smirk on your face there?" *He asked, legitimately wondering what's going on through her head. Nit that he ever regretted asking why she was smirking, though it made for interesting conversations.*

"No reason, she said with a tone of false innocence, before pop putting her menu back up in front of her, hiding from him to ignore her thoughts which were doing opposite of what she wanted. She wanted to take things slow with him, but her thoughts keep trying to push forward, she was a made with a one track mind.

*When she pulled up the menu again, he couldn't help but give a small laugh.* "She's definitely an interesting one, I love that." *He thought to himself. At that moment their food arrived and the waiter took their menus up so they could eat in peace.* "Usually they take forever with food but I guess since there's no one really here its quicker. Oh well, it looks delicious though!" *He said excitedly.*

Her blush was presented as she hoofed over the menu, quickly shaking the red tint from her face as she looked at her food. "Thanks, Blueberry", she said quietly trying to maintain a sense of control over her usual impulses to tease, insult or flirt with him.

*As Storm handed over her menu, Blue caught a quick glimpse of her faint red blush and smiled.* "You're quite welcome Storm." *He responded happily.* "So now that life has slowed down and the sort what are we going to do in our down time now?" *He asked, wondering what activities they could brainstorm to do.*

(Oh man...its 1 30 am and I'm too lazy to walk to the store for some chips)

 

Storm watched him a while as they ate not caring right then what they would do later as later was thru future and that meant it was subject to change from every choice everypony makes.

(I don't blame you, I sure as hell would be too lazy to go downstairs for pizza, let alone at 1:30 in the morning.)

 

*He finished up his food eventually and drank whatever water he had left and waited for Storm to finish off her food, wondering how the next fee days, hell hours to him would go and what they'd be doing, but for now, those were just wonders for him and for the rest of the night he just wanted to focus on the present.*
