Fourze Stallion 95 October 6, 2014 Share October 6, 2014 Call it crossover, call it taken creative liberty, call it injection of other facets of other media, ponfication exists in this franchise. I once did a video concerning this topic, but looking back on it, I realized I needed to get a lot of different opinions on the matter so I ask you guys for some of yours. I for one love ponification, I see it as a means for how we can get fans of other series interested in the MLP franchise and possibly broaden interests. I even recently took a character who debuted to the world just yesterday (being Sunday October 4th) and promptly ponified him due to the fact that he was just awesome in his opening fight. But I want to hear your guys' opinions of the matter. Do you like Ponification? Do you dislike it? Why? And feel free to post other stuff as well. 2 Follow me on Tumblr and join the Kamen Rider Club! http://fourze-pony.tumblr.com/ Want a commission from me for low costs? Veritum 257 October 6, 2014 Share October 6, 2014 Well, I think the fans it's primarily a good thing. The only problem I have with it is that sometimes it can be taken a bit too far, to the point where it starts to anger certain people. Other than that I agree with what you said. 1 Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. Banul 3,831 October 6, 2014 Share October 6, 2014 I don't mind it, but I know people who aren't fans of the show who really dislike it. They see it as forcing something that they don't like onto them.
Oblivion 20,279 October 6, 2014 Share October 6, 2014 I personally enjoy it, I like people, are characters from other shows that I like being drawn as a pony, it just makes them that much cuter. However, as others have said it can indeed go to far sometimes, and a lot of times people of other fandoms may look down on ponification greatly just because they either really dislike the show and would be considered a "hater", or they just generally don't like the idea of crossovers in general.

PoisonClaw 8,172 October 6, 2014 Share October 6, 2014 (edited) I pretty much mimic the posts above me. Ponification can be funny or awesome, but there can be a point where it starts to become annoying, especially if one or more characters in particular are constantly subjected to the point fans can't look for a picture of them without having to swim through a page or two of their pony versions. Also, I don't know if I should be surprised that there's a Drive pony after less than a week of the first episode. Mr. Mustang 647 October 6, 2014 Share October 6, 2014 Heck, I ponify the lyrics to the songs I listen to on the radio. It works a lot of the time.
