Storm laughed. "Well, that's certainly quite a few situations.. Thankfully, I don't see myself becoming a thief or a criminal in general.... Unless you count pranks. I hope pranks aren't a criminal activity!" He exclaimed. "Cause if they are, I may be a criminal after all..." Storm trailed off. "I wouldn't have been able to think of things like that without some serious thinking though! My hat is off to you Pinkie!" He told her, standing on two legs and bowing with a tophat he got from... Somewhere... in hoof.

Pinkie giggled at the display. "I bet that top hat would look good on you!"

 

'He's so fun,and sweet, and happy...'

 

Not many ponies were like that, which had made it very difficult for Pinkie to find a coltfriend back in school.

Storm blinked, before looking at the top hat in his hooves. "you think?" He asked. "I don't usually wear this sort of thing, so I guess I really have no clue whether or not it would look good on me..." Storm said thoughtfully. "Formal clothing, generally wears too fast for me to bother with it... Then again, I usually only wear my goggles anyways..."

Pinkie Pie was reduced to a pile of fits and giggles when she heard Storm's pun. After a few seconds of it, she abruptly stopped and replied to Storm, "Yes, you're right, and goggles and top hats don't really go well together. Though you shouldn't say 'yuck' until you've tried it... for me, seeing what looks good on you is a vested interest."

Storm didn't bother holding in his laughter at Pinkie's pun. Once the laughter had subsided he was able to answer. "Sure, I can try it." Storm replied, flipping the hat into the air. It landed on his head as he landed back on four hooves. "So..." He said. "What do you think?" Storm asked, doing a full turn around.

Pinkie Pie looked at Storm in his new attire, and she nodded and "hm"'d. "It's unique, that's for sure!" she said. "And the way you put it on was cool, too!"

 

"So, anyway, shall we put a movie on?" she proposed, and began rummaging through her box once again. "Hey, have you ever watched 'Finding Neighmo'?"

"Oh, is that the one where the Sea-pony's son gets pony-napped? Or would it be Fish-napped? Hmm.." Storm pondered the terminology for a second before waving it off. "Anyways, if it is... Nope, can't say I've seen it!" He exclaimed with a smile. "But I've seen some preview trailers... I think..."

"Preview trailers, eh?" restated Pinkie. "Did you see the clip where the kid fish's dad is yelling..."

 

She did her best impression of the character. "'Don't touch the butt! Don't touch the butt!'"

 

She went back to her normal voice and said, "Touch!" at the same time she poked Storm's rear end.

Storm broke down, laughing uncontrollably at Pinkie's impression of the sea-pony. "T-the butt! hahahahah!" He wheezed before he blushed and his eyes widened as Pinkie poked him. His wings involuntarily flared out and flapped down in one swift motion, sending him into the air before he crashed snout first back onto the floor. "Owie..." Storm said, muffled a bit by the floor.

Pinkie picked Storm up and propped him on his hooves. "You okay?" she asked.

 

'It felt squishy and malleable like a bag of flour, warm like a treat that's been cooling for a few minutes...'

 

'PINKAMENA! Get these thoughts out of your head this instant, young lady!'

 

'Yes, mother. Wait, what?'

Storm swayed a bit. "Yesh, that's two books in a balloon basket... Would you like hay-fries with that?" He asked woozily. "Which one of you three ordered? and why are you sliding? and spinning?" Storm questioned dazedly. "Or is that just the balloon store? I hope the iguana doesn't pop the chocolate river..." He said, getting off one more sentence before finally losing his balance and falling backwards. "Hey, I haven't seen you eagles in a while? how have you been?" Storm asked the birds now flying around his head.

'Wow just wow I have no idea what to say to that lol'

 

She picked him up and carried him into the guest bedroom. She propped him into bed and pulled a blanket over him. She patted him on the back and went to her own room. It was getting rather late, after all.

Storm yawned as he stretched his arms and wings out, pausing as he realized that he wasn't on any kind of cloud. Looking around, Storm remembered last night. "Wow, I must have hit the floor harder than I thought.." He mused aloud, walking over to the door and pushing it open.

Pinkie Pie yawned and stretched. She got out of bed and walked tiredly out. Even she wasn't immune to the power of early mornings.

 

She noticed Storm Shine beginning to exit the guest room she had assigned him to. "Hey there, Storm Shine. Did you sleep well?" she asked.

"Yep!" Storm said, popping the 'p' with a smile. "Thanks for putting me into the bed Pinkie, I was really out of it..."  He told her thankfully "Though I do wonder what kind of wood the floors were made from, 'cause it's some tough stuff. It certainly bit harder than it could bark!" Storm said with a laugh

"I dunno, you'll have to check with Mr. and Mrs. Cake on that one," said Pinkie. "I'll ask them myself some other time. They're not exactly happy with either of us."

 

She impersonated Mrs. Cake. "'We have the final say on who stays overnight! Pinkie Pie, you know that!'"

 

She went back to normal. "Anyway, I have to go to Appleloosa today. To deliver some cream pastries, and to pick up some apple pastries."

"Oh, um..." Storm rubbed his neck nervously. "S-sorry, I didn't mean to get you in trouble Pinkie... I'll head home or something I guess, I don't want to make things worse after all..." He said quietly.

"Jeeze, I should've thought about that, was I really so distracted that I didn't even think about how the Cakes might've reacted to something like this?" Storm mentally berated himself "It is their house after all."

"Nonono, don't be," said Pinkie Pie. "It was my fault, I should have gotten in touch with Mr. and Mrs. Cake while they were at a friend's house so I could check if it was alright," she pointed out. "And also, how could you possibly have known about that rule?" she went on.

"Well, it is their house.." Storm started. "So I probably should have given it at least a passing thought..." He said. "But I honestly didn't even think about it... Sorry.." "Let's just forget about it, shall we? The Cakes will forgive me soon enough," said Pinkie.

 

"Anyway, if you don't have anything to do today, wanna come to Apleloosa with me?" she said, as she grabbed a box cart holding a box full of cream pastries. "I'll get lonely all on my own..."

"Um, okay I guess we can just call it a mutual accident and put behind us..." Storm agreed with a small smile.  "And, I've actually got this whole week off... I'd be happy to go with you!" He exclaimed as his smile grew a little. "Travel always goes faster when you have a friend to share it with!" Storm said happily.

"Then let's go!" declared Pinkie excitedly. "Our race starts in three, two... oh, wait! I need some fuel first!"

 

She emptied a bag of sugar into her maw and swallowed it. 

 

"Okay-dokay! Three, two, one!" She hopped onto the box cart.

 

*ZIP!*

 

Pinkie sped off at ludicrous speed... but then came back.

 

"We're going to the train station, by the way."

 

She sped off once again whilst riding the box cart.

"Oh, so it's gonna be like that?" Storm laughed, flapping his wings to get into the air. "Then here. I. Go!" He exclaimed, disappearing on the last word, leaving behind a sonic boom.

 

Landing at the train station, Storm looked around. "Heh, normally I would think that I beaten my racing opponent here... But it's Pinkie, for all I know she could be on the train already.." He chuckled

From atop the roof, Pinkie Pie giggled to herself as she watched Storm Shine. 'So clueless! It's adorable!' She jumped down.

 

During the very short time she was in the air, she hummed the theme tune of Spider-Colt.

 

Then, she landed in front of Storm Shine. "Right here, Storm Shine!" she greeted him.

Storm jumped, doing a backflip (thankfully doing the full 360 and coming back around to land on his hooves..) in surprise. "Whoa... Pinkie, we need to find a new term for your speed, because you obviously moved faster than the speed of sound to get here... I'm almost certain you were here before I even arrived!" He exclaimed.
