(Suggestion) Pinned/Starred Topics

I have a suggestion for the forum. I think it would be nice to have a small part on the front page where you can keep track of 3-5 topics that you have "favorited" or "pinned".

The reason I would like to see this is because when I come to have questions answered, it's easy for me to not notice when new replies have been made, especially when the topic is in the same box as "Caption the Avatar Above You" and "Exchange Master-threads"

 

I understand that some people are thinking "Well, if you ask a question on the forums, keep track of it yourself." 
Okay, fair point, I just think the extra convenience would be great,

Have you tried the "follow this topic" button? Its sort of what you're looking for, it will give you a notification when somebody posts in a topic that you're following.

In addition to what Banul said, clicking "Content I Follow" will bring you to a list of all topics, blogs, and so on that you follow. You can access that button by clicking your username in the upper-right hand corner of the screen, which should bring up something similar to this:
