"Cheesecake? Um.. Are you sure, I mean I thought you had to your morgue and.. Direct a bunch of dead Ponies.. Do we really have time to sit here earing cheescaje", she asked though she probablycould use something to eat aafter hinting down a dragon that had been causing across Equestria that she had chased for a week without stopping to eat sleep or drink at all.

Mezra giggled. "Of cause we do.  I'm not sure how long my tests are going to take. So there isn't a problem if we just take some time to eat some cheesecake and have a cup of hot chocolate while we're at it.  And I may be a necromancy but that doesn't mean I don't know how to cook or bake. Now take a seat." She said before heading off to get them both a slice cake  and a cup of hot chocolate.

Bushido Blade just sat down and waited for her as instructed not thinking she had to but rather doing so out of respect and to get something to eat. "So the ray I heard earlier... Was it a zombie, then.. Was Lucy a zombie or an I thinking too darkly here", she asked bluntly when the mare returned.

Mezra came back with a tray that hat two plates with a slice of cheese cake and two mugs of steaming hot chocolate. As she placed Bushido's plat and mug in front of her she answered her. "If you're asking if Lucy is undead? Then yes, she is. I don't like to use the word zombie. Cause there is a difference between the two. Zombies are mindless undead that eat flesh with no reason at all, while undead can have thoughts. They also don't need to eat because... well... they're dead." She chuckled.

"Fine. So Lucy is undead then. And I will agree that zombies ate just brainless ravenous undead. Thank ypi", she said said as she heard the clatter of the plate and mug being set in front of her. She pulled a small circular blade and cut the Cheesecake into bite sized pieces before popping one into her mouth and taking a sip from her cocoa. "So how exactly does one bring life to a dead body part... I understand that you use magic but it doesn't really make sense to me'.

 "Well..." She thought about how to .explain it. "Okay, think of what makes a leg. Cells, bones, vanes, muscles, nerves, glands, fat and hair.  Basically I would have to build op each and ever little thing in it from scratch by using magic. That's why it takes so long for me to do it. I need to build up my magic just to do the spell once.  If I started doing it now it would take me a three years. And while I was doing it I couldn't move at all or I would have to start all over. This is why this kind of magic is not practiced or even tried. Cause of how long it takes and a high possibility of making things worse."

Bushido groaned inwardly and took another few seconds before responding. "So then why would offer to fix my eyes if it will take years... Won't you starve to death if you can't move.... I dont even understand why you would use magic that you can't move while using... Seems like a lot if trouble to go through fir something that might just make things worse ".

"It would, if I started now. Like 'RIGHT' now. But if I charge up my magic it for a month it will only take me about a few hours when I finally do the spell. Plus I still need to do my tests before I can even  try it.  Eyes have many layers and I will have  to see the things that are in each of them along with everything else." She said as she started eating her cake. "It's a long process."

"You know what, I really don't understand why my employer wanted you dead so badly. I come tell you I'm here to kill you and offer to waste a month making my eyes work properly. You just don't seem like someone I'd marl as nessecary termination", she said as she popped another couple of pieces into her mouth. "Typically, with my line of work, let's call it, I don't get to sit enjoy food like I am now, thank ypu".

"It's no problem. I like to help others out. And like I said, most ponies fear what they don't understand. Anything out of the ordanery would sent them running and screaming almost. But to be fair, there are many things I could do that cause a lot of problems for this world. But I go to great lengths to make sure I don't."

"I'm just surprised you've been foolish enough to trust me. What's to stop me from having an associate come and slice your through once you fix my eyes.... Absolutely nothing. Do I would make sure you really want to do this before you start something you may regret later", she said simply.

"I don't think I will. And of someone dose kill me... well... I would't actually 'die'. I mean I would be dead, but my soul would still be bound to my body. In other wards I would become a Liche. Which  is a goal of most necromancers. And once I come back I would kill you and your associate and seal your souls away into something. That would make you live in constant agony for all eternity. I'm sorry but I don't like to be tricked or treated badly. "

"You need not worry about me tricking you. I come from a clan made of ninja and samurai meaning I am bound by honor to not kill you because I have already said I wouldn't and that includes having you killed by another blade. So you will not come by me", she said simply. "I just wanted to be sure had no doubts about doing this".

"I have no doubts  about most things. When I set my mind on something I stick with it till the end." She said as she drank from her mug of hot chocolate while petting her rat that was resting in her lap. "Besides, it nice to have company once in a while from someone who isn't dead or a demon. " She chuckled.

Bushido finished off her cocoa and cake and wiped her muzzle of any crimes. "Again. Thank you for the cake. And of course thank you for what you're doing with my eyes. And I never realized I would be keeping company for the pony I cane to kill. Kind of funny.. Heh".

"Believe it or not this it's not the strangest thing to happen to me. And you're welcome. I have a guest bedroom upstairs if you want to stay here for the month. Also, don't you feel a little uncomfortable wearing all that armor? I would think you'd want to relax a little considering you're not trying to kill me anymore."

Bushido nodded and removed the armour. "Staying here for the month seems like a vacation compared to where I usually sleep which is a cave or a tree wherever I'm hunting. Could you shoe meto the gguest bedroom so I put my armour there and my weapins", she asked simply.

"Of course." Mezra said before finishing up her cake and coco. When she was done she asked her skeleton to take their cups and dishes to be cleaned in the kitchen. Then  she stood up. "I think it would be best if you take my hoof. My place is a little messy. I'm afraid you might trip over something."

"Thank you. I would rather not have to spend this entire month wearing or carrying my armour since I'm not killing anyone. It's really uncomfortable to sleep in that stuff. And take your hoof..... Okay.. I suppose a messy floor would be a bit hazardous since I can't avoid the messes", she said as she took her hoof.

Mezra smiled and squeezed Bushido hoof lightly and started leading her to the upstairs guestroom. She made sure to navigate her though the small stack of books on the ground while also moving them out of the way.  Then she led her up the stairs. "I've been mostly using the guestroom for a place to hold some of my collection, so I hope you don't mind a little clutter." She said as she let her in the room.

Bushido was a little confused when Mezra squeezed her hoof though she chose not to mention it since Mezra probably hadn't done it on purpose. "It's alright. A little clutter is fine as long as I have a path to the bed and the window", she said simply as she tried to figure where was a good spot for the armour since she couldn't see where was clear.

"Of course. The bed if clean and clear for you to use, but the windows might be a little stuck. And if you're looking for a place to but your things, I haven't put anything in the closet. Other then the mirror of  the other plane, but I doubt it'll cause you  any trouble. " She opened the closet and said a few words in a different language to the mirror and pushed in the back of the closet.

She quickly set her armour and weapons down into the closet and shut it. She set her bow and arrows by the bed just to be safe in case the mare tried anything. She still didn't quite trust her even though she was letting her stay a month and fixing her eyes, she still practiced improper magic..

"While you're staying here I should tell you where everything it. Down at the end the hall on the right is my room, on the left side is the bathroom. There's another bathroom on the bottom floor near the kitchen.  My study is the opposite of the parlor and the basement is where I do my work. Please knock before going down there."

Bushido pulled a Dagger from her weapins cache and used it to pop the window before dropping the Dagger in the pile. "Thank you. So would it better if I just didn't go to the basement at all... I'm wondering you would prefer that option... Seems you'd like to keep things down there secret".
