Soprano eventually ended up back at his house. He unlocked the door, and went in. His cat belly-flopped onto the carpet, as usual. "Hey bub." he said to the cat, before walking back down to his study, and getting on the computer. He grabbed the note he left for himself earlier, that read: '58.164.119.125:25565 - IP. Work on MySQL.'  He sat down, and began.

Eps started to scratch the back of his head.

"You could have said in the library or at a farm or anything else but if you want to go outside, then we'll go outside. I think I also could use some fresh air."Said Eps with a smile and a voice that sounds  like he is joking around.

"Alright, who are you really, and how did you get here? First you bring iPods to this universe, then you try to reveal I'm not from around here, and now you decided to make a scene in the bakery. What's your interest in sabotaging my work? I'll have you know that thievery of classified information is punishable by law, so you'd better explain yourself."

Eps looks at Andrea with a serious face which also looks like he is joking around.

"So you want to know the truth, eh?"Said Eps with a soft voice.

"Alright, here is the truth." Eps start to talk in a fast way but not very fast.

 

"I am originally from the human world but found a way into this world when I was very young and since then I have been living in this world. I started out as a pegasus and searched for a way home, so I went to princess Clestia, but her gaurds thought that I was trying to harm her so they locked me up in prison, I was there for 2 years but then I escaped and learned the arts of black magic so I can use magic uncluding, put spells on things, change form and after that I trained to become a sword master to defeat mythical evil creatures and whenever I beat one I gain it's spowers, just like I can obsorb energy and take powers from a object that contain magical powers, but even though I became all powerfull I still wanted to go back to the human world so I stumbled on a way to travel back to the human and then the power transfared into a watch that I have and after I went back to the human world where I got a job which gave me money so I can buy these Ipods and I am trying to unmask you because if you are from the human world, you also have found a way to get here and I would like to know what that way is."

 

Eps was done talking. Eps waited for a few seconds and then said:

"This all could be a lie or it can be the truth, or it can be the truth while you think it's a lie, but it also could be that you expected that I used the truth as lie and so you think now that this is the truth, but it also could be that I expected that that you expected that I would use the truth as lie so I used a lie while you think that I used the truth as lie. but it also could be that I expected that that you expected that I would use a truth cause I expected that you expected that I would use the truth as lie and so I told a lie." "I'm going to guess~...... TRUTH! NO WAIT, DARE! Wait...." Storm chuckled, "Pinkie, It's not truth or dare." He said to the pink mare standing behind Andrea. "Come on, let's leave them to their talk about the human world and get back to the party.." He suggested, waving her over from the door. Pinkie pouted, "But I wanna know how the story ends..." She complained. Storm laughed, "There isn't one yet, so come on. Let's leave them to their privacy." Pinkie continued to pout slightly, but walked over to Storm anyways. "Fine..." Storm gave her a hug and a peck on the cheek. "How about some cider? I think that'll bring a smile back to your face..." Pinkie immediately perked up before grabbing Storm and disappearing inside Sugarcube Corner to look for the promised cider.

Andrea's expression eased. "Very well then. I suppose nobody would believe you if you told them. I'm the CEO of Eclipse Co. I don't know whether or not you've heard of us, but we're a humanitarian corporation that specializes in technology, medicine, or any other research that can bring us a step closer to world peace. As you probably guessed, we recently discovered the existence parallel universes. Unfortunately, physically transporting living organisms to these universes was too dangerous. Instead, we transport their consciousness to the other universe, and we can have them materialize as whatever species is best suited for the world's conditions. I can return to the human world simply by sleeping. As soon as I fall asleep, I'll wake up back in my office."

"Eclipse Co.? Sorry, never heard of. I was away from the human world for over 10 years."

 

Eps started to scratch the back oh his head again.

"I got to be honest, the idea of world peace and all sounds beautifull but if you are trying to transport humans to the pony world, I would suggest that you stop.

Believe me, I also dream of a world of peace for as long as I can remember but it is just too risky to transport a lot of people to this world. This place may look great at first sight, but if it was as great as it looked, then I wouldn't have to carry a sword around."

 

Eps tries to sound smart to reason with Andrea.

"Have you thought of that even if you transport the consciousness of every person to here, the bodies will still remain in the human world. As time passes, the bodies may die of natural causes, like starving, thirst, illness or being attacked by an animal and when the human body dies, a chain reaction will also kill the person who lives in this world."

 

After wards Eps looked to the ground for a sec and then looked back up to Andrea.

"I also think that some of the rulers of this world won't accept your race very eassily. I think that the rulers of the human world also would doubt it if ponies would walk around the streets and what about transporting bad persons to this world? Then this world will have to suffer from the criminals of your world, and I think that here won't be enough room for everyone if you send a entire city here. We could accept to help the ill and the sick or people in danger but it will be though to have the population of another world here."

 

Eps grabs the small box and hand it over to Andrea.

"Even after all this,I hope you still want to accept my present."

Andrea took the box Eps offered. "That's an awfully specific conclusion to come to." She replied, puzzled. "First of all, we're nowhere near being able to safely move people here, nor was that what I had in mind. Besides, only employees with the required clearance level have access to the Rift Jumpers. Second, I originally came here to see how this world works, and gather samples of resources that could be used to advance our technology. Now that I know this place is civilized, I might consider expanding the company here. If we could trade resources, who knows how much our research will accelerate?"

She then looked at the present she was holding.

"Anyway, thanks for the gift."

Eps was silent  for a second thinking about what Andrea said and then looked into the sky like here was something interesting in the sky.

"uhm.... if you put it that way, it actually doesn't sound too bad... Sorry for being so stubborn, I just have a heavy history. I am not really used to changes.

I had to be raised by my own. No parents or familly, I didn't even have someone watching over me, heck, there wasn't even someone who cared for me.

I ussually lived on my own. The feeling that a lot of more people are able to come to this world, the more people, the more the chance that my house will be found.

I do not know why but it just sounds soooo.... worry making. That's the best way I can describe it."

 

Eps then looked that to the ground with a sad face.

"It is just that all my years of being a hunter is about to end. I have been searching for a reason to fight for so long, now that I have no reason anymore, I am trying to find one.

My warrior inside doesn't only want to hunt but also to protect the ones I care about, like my friends. That is why I am so protective. I just want that nothing happens to the ones I care about. I am sorry..."

"I'm sorry to hear that." Andrea replied, before she began to stare off. "I'll probably never know what not being loved is like, having been raised by a single father. He may not be around anymore, but he gave me the company when he passed away. I wish he could see everything we've accomplished." 

She then looked back at Eps.

"But you don't have to worry about your loved ones. As long as I'm around, I won't let anything happen to anyone."

Eps looks at Andrea with a smile.

"Don't worry, I am sure that..." in the middle of the sentence. His smile faded away. He just realised what 'He may not be around anymore' meant.

 

Eps looked away for a few seconds, then he turned back and looked her in the eyes.

"I am sure that he is proud of you, no matters what happens."

 

Eps gave her plan a second thought, maybe it wasn't that bad. Eps turned his head a little to the side and said:

"Well, I think that you won't cause anyone trouble with your project so you might as well continue it."

After about an hour of viciously typing away, and mild frustration because nothing worked anymore, he remembered he left his tape recorder and the tape at Skyla's house. Then he remembered that it was a long walk, and she probably would of left the house about an hour ago.

 

He wrote a note on his desk: "Get tape, digitise recording".

Eps looks at the ground as Andrea goes back inside.

"Yeah, you are right."

 

Eps stands still for a few seconds.

"Wait a minute... of course! How didn't I notice it earlier!?"

 

Eps closes his eyes to sense energy from living lifeforms. Every lifeform has a different energy, this way  Eps can sense where his friends are if they are in range.

Eps sensed the first person he is looking for.

"Time to gather a team."

 

Eps took off and flew around ponyville until he found his target. Eps landed on theground but the spirit seems to be underground.

"how did he get there?"

 

Eps saw a very small hole leading to somewhere but it was way too sall for anyone to fit in there.

"One of these puzzle places again? My life is like a do and repeat game. Shadow, go!"

 

Eps his shadow shrunk and moved into the hole. The shadow kept on going and going until it ended up in some strange cavern.

Eps saw the vision of the Shadow and he couldn't believe his eyes.

"I haven't seen a place like this for in a while."

 

The shadow was looking around until it spotted Blackheart.

"There he is. Switch!"

 

Through magic, the living shadow and Eps changed from position in an instant.

Eps came close to Blackheart, but Blackheart didn't notice.

 

In a quick move, Eps draw his sword and moved it in front of black his face.

"Don't worry, I am not here to battle you. I came with a offer."

 

Eps made his sword dissapear into his keychain again.

"Are you interested?" Said Eps while putting a sigar looking thing (which it isn't) in his mouth and lit it on fire.

Wearing her periwinkle shirt and hat, Spellbind sighed as she plodded along the street, her gold and silver hair being swayed slightly by the breeze. Sighing was a habit of hers, given her usual mood.

 

She noticed something on the ground. Something rather unusual. Being curious about stuff like this, she picked it up... some kind of amulet?

 

"What is thi-" *BZZZT!*

A periwinkle mare with a gold and silver mane and a periwinkle hat was chucked onto the ground. "Wha..." She looked up and was shocked to see cartoony-looking ponies of many different colours!

Skyla wandered around until she saw the new pony come back into Sugarcube Corner. She politely walked up to her and said, "Hi there, welcome to Ponyville! I'm Skyla, what's your name?"

 

She held out her hoof, thinking she was offering a handshake. She realized her error and put her hoof down. "Sorry," she said, embarrassed.

James finished his debrief with his commanders and made his way back to his tent, "Another long day of this stuff, I can't keep this up." 

As he walked back he looked over the camp making sure every one was doing there job. As he was about to walk into his tent he noticed something on the ground. 

As he closely looked at the object he noticed that it was a ring, "I wonder who dropped this here?" as he began to pick it up, "Better give this to Comm..."

A Grey stallion with black and red colored mane fell out of the sky and landed on the ground. "Man, that hurt, where am I?". He looked around the area and surveyed where he could have appeared.

As Eps waited for an answer he got shocked by a feeling.

He alll the sudden sensed 2 new lifeforms that had a connection with anohter world.

In a hurr, Eps left BlackHeart and headed for ponyville.

"Think about it, I'll talk to you later."

 

Eps started to run to the same entrance he used to get in. Once again he used his shadow to get through the hole.

Once Eps reached the surface he started to fly and started to  search for the new lifeforms.

Noticing the two newcomers, Storm and Pinkie practically teleported in front of them. "Hi there!/Hiya!" They chirped happily. "I'm Storm Shine-" "-And I'm Pinkamena Diane Pie, but you can just call me Pinkie Pie!" The next sentence was said by both ponies, "Welcome to Ponyville!" After which they both fell over laughing.

 

Storm got up from the floor after his laughing fit, "Sorry about that, but we always greet ponies who've just arrived in Ponyville! Though the 'in-sync' thing is something we've been wanting to try for a while. We'd throw you a welcome party right now, but..." Pinkie finished for him, "But we're already in the middle of a welcome party... We can have yours tomorrow though!"

 

"By the way, where are you from? You" - Storm pointed at Spellbind - "seem like you must be from.. Manehatten! Or maybe Trottingham? And you!" - He pointed at Lightning - "Must be in the Wonderbolts! No. No, Spitfire hasn't told me about needing a party for a new member yet..." Storm brought a hoof to his chin in thought, trying to figure out where the two newcomers might've come from.

"So... a couple, huh?" observed Spellbind, frowning a little. She wasn't really one for much social interaction, but did get a little sad whenever she saw a pair/group of lovers.

 

"I don't know any of those places. They sound kinda like what we have back where I live, though."

 

She got up, and found she was on all fours. She looked at herself, her breathing getting heavier and faster, then she looked at her reflection in a mirror.

 

 

Meanwhile in Saddle Arabia...

 

Two ponies were playing cards, when they heard a piercing scream from a distance.

 

"Should we go and help somehow?" asked one of them.

 

"Nah," said the other one. "It must've come from really far away."

Storm and Pinkie jumped when Spellbind screamed. Pinkie came back down immediately, though Storm sorta ended up stuck to the ceiling like a cat. After getting back down, he tilted his head, "Are you okay?" Storm asked, unsure as to the reason behind her sudden scream.
