Aces High, a simple earth pony living in Ponyville was waiting a package to be delivered by mailmare and the young Derpy Whooves was to be that mailmare delivering his parcel. And a simple delivery would be the beginning of something neither of them would have expected.

*Derpy had been flying around Ponyville all day, delivering the mail, delivering packages and the sorts of her job. It was nearing the end of their shift for her, all she needed to was deliver one last package and she could go home to her daughter. She stopped flying and hovered for a moment reading the name the package was addressed to. She squinted and focused her eyes to properly see the name.* "Hmm, Aces High. Alright, address is there." *She muttered to herself, finding the house and knocking on the door, pulling out the clipboard for the receiver to sign.*

(Um.... I totally forgot she had a kid. How does this work....? She had Dinky with the Doctor abd they split up or something?)

 

Aces High was laying on his roof half-asleep with his hat over his face to block the sun when he heard a knocking on his door. He fixed his hat and slid down from his room to pick up his package. "Howdy", he said as he signed fit the delivery.

(Well, in the fanon, she has Dinky and Sparkler (Didn't kno whether or not you'd mind Sparkler or not :/ ) but I don't say the Doctor is Dinky's dad. I just say Derpy had Dinky at a young age accidentally from having some fun.)

 

*She held out the clipboard to sign for the package, whatever it was. She always wondered what every package was that she delivered. Once he had signed for the package, she took the clipboard and put it in her bag and handed him the package.* "Alright. Here you go sir." *She said, handing him the parcel.*

(Okay and just assumed you only wanted Dinky in it since you said daughter)

 

Aces High took the parcel and pulled a serrated knife from his hat and cutting the box open to reveal a deck of cards that brought a small smile to his face. '' Thanks. I know you're probably plenty busy but you've probably been flyin' round all day so I was wondering if you might like a quick snack".

(Well, in the other one I'm doing, I have both Sparkler and Dinky. This one I'll just keep Dinky.)

 

*She was about to leave when the stallion had asked her if she was hungry.* "Well, actually that was my last delivery before I went home for the day, so I and I am pretty hungry from the flying. I could use a snack, thank you." *She said with a grateful smile.*

He bucked his door open and waved her in following her in and dropping his hat on his cost rack. "What do want to eat."I was about to make myself a snack anyways but I'm not really sure what I want. If you wanna turn on the TV or my game system and screw around with it while I get your food made, be mah guest".

*She entered the house and sat down on the couch.* "Um, I don't know. But maybe something quick, I have to pick up my daughter from school soon so I can't be there late to miss that." *She said, looking around, squinting to focus her vision.* "Nice place you have here." *She complimented.*

"Not a problem. Quick is my middle name", he said before going to the kitchen and a few minutes later, coming out with s bucket of muffins. "Well, Derpy, everypony knows how much l ya like muffins so here ya go, freshly made", he said as he took one set the deck he had taken from the box she had delivered onto the table, now clearly seen to be tarot cards.

*Derpy's eyes lit up and she smiled brightly at the muffins.* "Oh my gosh, muffins! Thank you!" *She said happily, taking the bucket muffins and began eating one of the many muffins. She looked over what he had doing and cocked her head to the side.* "So what are those?" *She asked.*

Aces High say next to her on the and picked a couple of the cards. "Um.. Tarot cards, apparently they're supposed to show your future.... Or, something. I have no idea what they actually do, but I figured what the hay, I'll take a shot in the dark and give then a try, why not. And no problem. I invited you to have a snack, Um not gonna lie to you", he said as he grabbed one from the basket.

"Tarot cards?" *She said, taking another bite of her muffin.* "Seems interesting. So, are you gonna try them out for yourself, or are you going to try them out on somepony else?" *She asked, interested in the tarot cards.* "They seem pretty interesting to me." *She added.*

"They aren't exactly as useful on your own, I don't think.... But before I try them I need to figure our how they work... They came with a book on what the cards mean so it should actually be pretty simple."Hey, since you're here, you mind if I try them out on you", he asked as he flopped the pages of the book, still lost on how they worked.

"Ooo, alright. Sounds like fun." *She said with an excited smile, placing her muffin and her other muffins to the side to be focused on what he will be doing with the tarot cards.* "Alright, I'll do it. Hopefully it doesn't take too long, gotta go get my daughter at some time." *She said.*

"All I so is shuffled the cards neatly and flipped the cards on to his table, revealing the fool, the lovers and the chariot." Well... Thus would be great if knew what any of these cards meant. Sorry, I don't understand tarot yet. Maybe we can try again sometime once I've figured the stuff out. If you really running late, you could just take the rest of the muffins with you ".

*She shrugged with a smile and picked up her muffins.* "Oh well, I guess sometime else. Thank you for the muffins Aces! Have a good day!" *She said, walking out of the house with a wave of her wings and a bounce in her step, tail swishing back and forth in her usual bubbly attitude.*

Aces just shrugged as she got up and left with the muffins. "See ya later, Derpy. I'll be sure to come find you when I figure this tarot card junk out, okay. Have a nice day, you beutiful mare", hesaid only wwhispering the last sentence. He just stood at the door watching as she went.

"Alright, goodbye." *She said with a smile and flew off to get her daughter at school, holding her muffins at bay, holding on to them tight. She arrived at the school and found Dinky, who ran up to her and hugged her leg and started to babble on about her day to her.*

Aces just laid on his couch reading through the book he had received on the tarot cards trying to understand how they worked, what the different cards meant, and what the whole point even was, eventually giving up and strumming a simple melody in his bass.

*Derpy went home, dealing with Dinky and her endless babbling, but enjoyed it as one of the many things of being a mother, to see her child happy and ecstatic, even though she may be a bit much at sometimes. They entered their tiny house and started to make their dinner together.*

Aces got bored of strumming and started on a pizza. He got some dumb ready and started making the sauce before grating some cheese and olives. (Aw yeah.. Home made pizza. He got that brick oven.) He finished setting up the pizza and slid it into his over to let it cook, his thoughts returning to Derpy though he wasn't sure why.

(Oh god that sounds freaking delicious right now )

 

*Derpy and Dinky made some spaghetti for the night and sat down to eat their delicious creations. Afterwards, Derpy and her daughter went and watched television, munching on her new muffins, happily eating away. Her thoughts had been wandering in and out of the day.*

Aces went back to his couch try reading a bit more of his tarot book and finally figured out basically what the meanings of the cards were. He realized the pizza was ready and grabbed it, happily digging in.

(You're at your girls house? Why the hell are you here role playing with me!? XD I'm stuck eating hot pockets xD)

 

*After an hour of watching television, Dinky yawned, signaling it was her bedtime. She picked her up and went and put her to bed with a kiss on her forehead, before going to her own bed and settling in.*

He chowed down on his pizza before eventually looking at his clock and yawning start when it showed 10:30. "Good night, empty bed. Huh.. My beds not normally empty... Oh that's right I stopped that when I cane to Ponyville, heh".
