*After laying in bed for an hour or so, reading a book, squinting most of the time to actually see the tiny words of the book, she put the book on the side of the bed and yawned, stretching her wings and turning out her light to fall asleep for the night.*

(Now you will the reason I suddenly sign off I'd u do... That guy seems to never sleep, and Aces used to be a player who had a different mare every night but now that he settled down hes done)

 

Aces slid into bed with his necklace still on but removed his ear rings just to be a bit more comfortable. "Derpymmmm..... What wait? I need ta' chill out right quivk'', he said to himself as he fell asleep.

 

A few hours later he felt the sun and put his hat over his eyes to block out the sun.

*Derpy woke up early the next morning, her eyes fluttering open and when she had fully awoken, she threw herself out of bed and went down the hall to wake up her beloved daughter. She walked into her room and nudged her to wake up for school.*

Aces eventually got up and his put his dice ear rings back in before going and grabbing a toaster strudel. He laid himself out on his couch to watch some television but decided to go see a movie a the Ponyville Theatre instead and hopped off the couch and headed there.

*After Dinky awoke from her sleep, Derpy took her downstairs to feed her some breakfast. After they had their breakfast consisting of waffles and orange juice, Dinky went and grabbed her schools supplies and came back, jumping into her mother's back. They set off through Ponyville to get to the schoolhouse.*

He went to the theatre a saw Derpy with her daughter and gave a light wave holding the tarot deck as a way of quickly saying that he had them pretty much figured out and was ready to try them on her again when ever as he walked by. He ducked into the theatre and tried to find a decent movie.

*Derpy saw Aces give a friendly wave, and she waved back with a smile. She noticed he was holding his cards, probably signaling he knew what he was doing this time. She decided to go back to his house after work to try them out. She felt Dinky's little hooves rest on her head between her ears.* "Mommy, who was that?" *She asked with curiosity.* "Just someone I know dear." *Derpy answered with a smile and trotted off to Dinky's school.*

(I have very limited knowledge of Tarot so I apologize in advance if his tarot reading is wrong as hell).

 

Aces looked around and saw that Interstellar was playing. "Probably gonna sick but what the hay", he said to himself as he went to get a ticket and pulled out a set of shells offering a bit to the stallion selling the tickets. He hid a bit under under two of the shells saying that if the vendor found a bit he could have the bit and Aces would pay double for the ticket but if not he would pay nothing.

*After Dinky was dropped off at school with daughterly hug and kiss, Derpy watched her run off with her friends. She smiled to herself, seeing her daughter happy was the best feeling in the world for her. She went off to work, smiling as she went about her day delivering the mail.*

Aces won his little bet and used the technicality that he would pay nothing to not pay for his food a drink either. He picked up his shells and watched the crappy movie. Once it ended he picked his hat up off his face after putting it there so he wouldn't have to see the movie and he headed home to grab something to eat.

*Derpy had fun while on the job like she always did, enjoying the smiles of the ponies receiving their packages on time and the thanks they gave her. She even delivered packages to her close friends and had a friendly chat with them before heading off to complete her jobs.*

Aces High went and made himself a plate of hay burgers and grab a cider to wash it down opting against having one of his hard ciders since he only drank those on special occasions. He laid down with his plate of burgers on his couch and put on a movie.

*Derpy delivered the last package to her friend, Carrot Top, and after having a short pleasant conversation with her, she gave a friendly wave goodbye and flew off to drop her bag off at the post office, checking out of her uniform and headed out of the post office.*

Aces High watch the movie which happened to be an old western just for the sake of the noise. He are his burgers and decided to go ahead and take a shower and maybe sleep a while since he had nothing better to do. He showered quickly and hopped out before lying in his couch his mane still a little wet.

*Derpy walked by a local shop, looking through the windows, seeing the time.* "Hmm, I have half an hour before I have to pick up Dinky, maybe I can go see if Aces High can do that tarot card thing like he wanted." *She said to herself, walking off to Aces home. She arrived and knocked on the door.*

Aces High heard the knock and got up to open the door to see who it was. When he opened it he saw Derpy Whooves standing there and he looked everywhere except at her. He settled on looking at the park about a block away. "Hey there, Derpy.. What's happening"?

*She opened her mouth to answer, then immediately stopped, noticing that Aces was looking at something behind her. She turned her head to see what he was looking at, squinting around the area, finding nothing special or anything out of place.* "Uh, what are you looking at?" *She asked, sounding confused.*

"Um.. Just the park.. Nothing special.. Heh.... So to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit, decided to sit through another pathetic attempt at my tarot failure", he said with chuckle. He loved making funof himself, since no mmatter what, things always went his way one way or another, so it was fun to poke a few holes into his perfect little life.

*She gave a small giggle when he scrutinized himself.* "Yeah, came here for your tarot card reading, and apparently I'm going to be disappointed by it according to you." *She said, knowing the tarot card reading would most likely go perfectly fine with no mistakes.*

He went and grabbed his tarot deck ND sat in the couch beside after inviting her in and she had say down. He put a cup of cider and a muffin on his table for her and passed her deck. "You shuffle the deck. It should get a feel of who are and it will be able to judge you acurrately".

*Derpy's eyes lit up at the placement of a muffin and a cup of cider in front of her.* "Ooo, thank you Aces." *She said with a smile and took a sip of the cider. She then took the tarot cards in her wings, at first fumbling with them, then getting them in a steady grip and shuffled them and passed the deck back to him.*

"Not a problem. I always keep a lot if cider around the house, I don't care for cupcakes - too sweet for my taste-so I make a lot of muffins. No biggie", he said as he took the deck after putting gloves as to not interfere with the decks reading of her essence. He placed three cards on the table face down. "Pick one and flip it up".

*She took a bite of her muffin, then refocused her attention on the three cards in front of her on the table, awaiting to flipped up right. She hovered a hoof over them, then decided to flip over the middle one and looked at it.* "So, what does it mean?" *She asked with a cocked head.*

"Ah.... The Empress.... Power, control, pride, beauty. The mighty expresses possesses like of these traits. As do you, else this card would never have revealed itself to you", he said after changing the image she saw from the Tower to the Empress. "Please select the next card".

*She started at the flipped up card for a little bit with great interest and an 'Ooo!'. She then guided her hoof over the last two cards, trying to see whether to select the right or left card. She eventually decided on the right card and flipped it over on the table.*
