"Mmhmm, very true." *She said, staring at the card with wide eyes, very interested in the tarot card reading she was receiving. She hovered her hoof over the last card and flipped it over so they could see what the last card had said, awaiting the last reading from him.*

Aces High lipped last card and showed her the Fool, forgetting to change what she saw. "Aw crap..", he muttered and sighed. '' Well, the fool.... How do I put this.... Simple, idealistic, prone to accidents, clutzy, but that's what makes the fool so adorable", he said with a chuckle.

*Derpy started blankly at the card on the table. She heard those names being thrown at her when she was a filly, being teased for her eyes and her impairment. She felt the tears start to swell up in her eyes, but quickly shook her head and smiled.* "Yup, that's me." *She said, hiding the pain she felt years ago behind a smile.*

Aces saw the talents starting to form in her eyes and bit his lip. "Hey, you don't this stuff at face value, sometimes they have double meanings but either, I personally think a clutzy and accident prone mare is typically pretty cute, just my opinion", he said trying to cheer her up, though he did mean it.

*She felt a bit of a blush rise to her face when he said he thought a clutzy mare, like herself, was cute. She smiled and shook her head.* "Oh no, it's not your fault. I've just been bullied about my clumsiness and my eyes before, so I'm used to it." *She said, trying assure him he did no wrong.*

He nodded ad gave a simple 'Ah, oksy'. "Seriously though, you shouldn't have been bullied for being cute. Your nothing to be picked on, at least that's my opinion. I mean sure, Ponies think clumsy Ponies are easy targets and easily fooled but heck, I like Ponies like that. I dont particularly know why, but I do find clumsy mares to be really cute. I'm glad I didn't do anything wrong, I would hate to upset ypu".

*She giggled and felt her blush increase more when he kept calling mares like her cute. She waved a dismissive hoof at him and smiled.* "I know, but bullies will be bullies." *She said with a hoof.* "I've learned to not let it get to me, especially now that I have a daughter to pass it on to any of the kids who think her mother is, uh. Slow."

'' Now.. I may not a nuclear physicist but slow and clumsy I'd two very different things, but bullies just like pair them together to make cute mares feel bad about themselves. That's why I don't hang around a whole of stallions, most just wanna pokefun and thats not what iI'm aboutxm".

*She couldn't help but smile again and nod.* "Yeah, I knew a lot of stallions up in Cloudsdale that loved to tease me at every chance they got, but I eventually got past that, and I hope to pass it down to Dinky, my daughter." *She explained, feeling a little happier then normal.*

"Uhm.. Ahem. Not that I haven't been enjoying hanging out with you which I most certainly have, but aren't you going to be Las the picking Dinky up from school if we sit here chatting much longer", he asked with a raised eyebrow. "Come to think of it, if you ever feel like it, I'd be happy to have you guys over for some home made brick oven pizza of you want"

*Her eyes widened and looked at the time frantically, seeing it was five minutes past the time she needed to pick up Dinky.* "Oh no, you're right! I'd love to sometime, but I gotta go, thank you Aces." *She said, standing up and running to the door, accidentally running into the door frame. She fell back on her launches and stood up, shaking her head and ran out the door.*

"See ya", hecalled out before smiling wwith a chuckle after she hit the doorframe. "Utterly adorable . Nothing could compare to that are adorable flightyness. Ah, oh well, time to nap since I've got absolutely nothing better to do till Storm wants a new guitar or needs me to go with them again, think they would ask if I wanted to before buying me a ticjet", he said with a light sigh.

*Derpy raced towards the school house as fast as she could, not believing herself that she had been late to pick up her daughter. She arrived at the school, seeing Dinky waiting patiently for her. She walked up to her, thanking Cheerilee and trotted with her off to their home.*

Aces High laid himself out in his roof to just watchthe pPonies on their daily routines like he did every day. He want sure why he did it buy he did, and it kept his boredom away so he didn't really care why. "Well, that was kind of nice, having Derpy over.... Wait, I invited them to come over for pizza. Since I invited both, then it's not a date right, eh, whatever".

*As they walked hoke, Dinky went on babbling about her day at school and what she did and Derpy listened intently, smiling, happy to see her young daughter enjoy school so much, seeing as she herself hated school Because of the teasing other kids gave her. They arrived at their home and Dinky scrambled off to put her bags away while Derpy stood in the living room thinking to herself.* "Wait, Aces invited us to eat at his house. So is it a date?" *He asked her self.*

Aces High laid out on his roof half-asleep for a while before sliding down to his porch and walked back into his house boredely and sat on his couch. He picked up a die and tossed it at his console power button turning it on. He picked a controller and started playing Ponio. Bros.

*After awhile doing things with Dinky, helping her with her school work and such, she turned to see the time, and saw it was around dinner time. She thought about Aces offer and smiled.* "Come along Dinky, we're going a friend of mine's place to eat tonight, I'm sure you'll love the food." *She said, allowing Dinky to hop on her back and trotted out the door, set on walking to Aces house.*

(Yep he plays a lot of darts so he's pretty accurate.) Aces sat there playing his game boredely until he for tired if being killed Bowser. "That's it. I quit. I'm done with this game. I'm gonna put some pizza in the oven and play some ponymon. Should probably double up on the pizza in case Derpy does decide to come.

*Derpy trotted along happily with Dinky bouncing on her back equally happy as they arrived at Aces' front door. Dinky perked up onto her mother's head and raised a hoof to ready to knock after her mother. Derpy knocked five times before Dinky knocked twice and stayed still, her hooves overlapping Derpy's mane.*

He had just put in the pizzas into the oven and booted Ponymon on his handheld when he heard the knock. "Hmmm.. I guess she showed up. Sweet", he said before swinging the door open waving them in. "Hey, Derpy and I presume Dinky, I'm glad you decided to come. You could watch TV or play a game I don't really care. I got something ice got to do in the kitchen".

*Dinky's eyes lit yo at the sudden mention of video games and television as she scrambled off her mother's head and onto the ground and trotted into the living room. Derpy smiled and turned to Aces.* "It's no problem, take your time. We're guests, we wouldn't want to rush you." *She said, before going in and sitting next to Dinky, who had already started fiddling with his co sole.*

"All right. I'm just setting up toppings for the pizza and stuff. What kind of toppings do you guys want? And what to drink? Sorry if it seems like I'm too involved in making these. I just take in my pizza. It's the one food I'm good at making. Well, that and muffins of course".

"Um, whatever you want for the toppings is fine with us. Dinky is like me, she will eat anything put in front of her, no exceptions, but she enjoys a lot, so anything will do. As for drinks, I can have some cider and something safe for her." *She said, not wanting to give Dinky anything not safe for a filly.*

"All right then. I'll just put like olives and stuff. But I'm a little confused by the whole safe for fillies thing. Isn't cider safe for fillies, or did you mean a hard cider for yourself? Because then I could see cider not being safe for fillies because regular cider is just apple juice right", he asked in confusion.
