Hey guys, I don't know if anyone posted this already, and the fact that it's doesn't shows it's name makes it hard too look in the forum. Anyway, just in case, here's a development video

Looks great and all but so did Fighting is Magic.

Ponykart also comes to mind. Never made it through.

 

All I know is that if it's being made from scratch, it's going to take a long time. I could give an anecdote for this from the Metroid fandom. Project AM2R has been in the works since January 2008 at the latest (that's according to the date of the first blog post on their website). Although they've released a number of demos by now, it still isn't complete although it has come a long way.

 

I hope that gives an idea.

This looks really amazing! Especially the animation: it looks so natural and show-accurate Here's another demo of the character animation:

And it seems that it is not just a sequence of hard-coded frames of graphics, but a full-blown skeleton animation. Proof:

The lighting and particle effects (Da Magic^TM) also look very KEWL I hope they will introduce a whole bunch of different spells, not only some combat laser beams and short-range teleportation. I'd like to see her levitating objects or transforming them into oranges But it is definitely a good way to start.

I only hope that they learned from ManeSix mistakes and will do something to avoid being Crashed & Destroyed before they finish it. Edited December 5, 2014 by SasQ

Who knows, we are free to dream about a game like this  . I would like an official MLP game that is not that Farmville, but with ponies

Looks like it'll be a MegaMan-type platformer.

But, I wouldn't be surprised if it was C&D'd. It'll only be a dream...

Wow, that game in the OP looks so amazing!  If only if really and properly happened.  I dream of the day we'll have awesome, proper MLP games on Steam.  I probably won't live to see it.
