"Hey! Don't you facehoof! You didn't even let me close my door! This isn't a fair race!" I growl at you, slamming my door shut. I tighten the satchel so the ink in it doesn't spill. I sprint to catch up with you.

"Come on Ash! This is hardly fair!" I say, slowly catching up.

"What's wrong? You know you're gonna loose?" I yell to you. "It is to fair because I'm not using my wings am I?" I yell. "You just need to get out of that house of yours!" I yell looking behind. Not knowing where I was headed I trip over a hole in the ground and fall. "Whoa!"

"You idiotic Pegasus! Watch where you're going!" I say, catching up to you. I look down at you for a second, getting a chuckle out of it.
 

"You alright Ash?" I say, helping you back onto your hooves.

"You had that fall coming, moron. Karma came all the way around." I say as I facehoof.

"Heh heh..." My face gets a bit red from embarrassment. "Yeah well..." I try to say as we start trotting along. "I... uh... whatever." I say still kinda embarrassed. "Look let's just get to the Everfree Forest and never speak of this again." I say looking at you annoyed. "What if I was actually hurt..." I say but then I gasp. "Do you think anypony else saw?!" I say shaking you.

"You're think way too hard about this. You tripped and looked like your old clumsy self. Watch where you dash off to, and no more holes will get the better of you. This is why I take things slowly genius." I say, brushing the dirt off of you as we head towards the forest.

"I really don't like slow..." I say. I have a look on my face that says "I'm a moron" as we walk. Still feeling a bit embarrassed about it. "Yeah yeah... "Ash ya need to slow down, Ash ya need to be more careful" blah blah." I look away a bit. "Let's just get to Everfree Forest and move on with the fun stuff."

"I do not need your sass good sir. What's your big plan? Why must you drag me out here when I could be home writing?" I snark back.

 

After a bit of trotting, we get to the edge of the forest.

"Oh, good. Just what I need to see. Trees so thick barely any sunlight gets into the forest." I say, with a slight bit of worry in my voice.

"Ah we'll be fine Escritor. Don't be such a scaredy pony." I say. "I actually don't have a plan... I was just hoping something would... happen." I say. "I'm sure something will happen shortly. All we have to do is sit talk... and maybe relax." I say. I look at you with a scary face. "Maybe a manticore or something will show up!" I say trying to scare you.

"Must you be so rude about your accusations?! A beast of that caliber would kill one of us! It is hard to believe your nerve. Going out into... that, with no plan and no fear? Have you gone mad?" I ask, fear instilled into my voice.

 

"I trust you though, that's the only reason I'm going with you!" I say.

"Aw come on I'm just having fun." I say chuckling. "Also we won't die. I told Rainbow Dash I was gonna take you down here and she swoop checked the forest and she said that there was nothing... Then again that was ban hour ago..." I say. "I'm sure we will be fine. Trust me. Were not gonna be killed by a manticore. I was just joking about it to scare you." I smirk as I say.

"Then do not make such a joke about it!" I sigh, taking a breath of relief.

 

"Alright, come on. Let's go. Let's see what this Forest has to offer." I say, looking into the forest. I take a breath of nervousness, and start to trot towards the forest.

"Come on! If I'm gonna do this, we're gonna do it." I say.

"Oh well look at you Mr. Bravery." I say chuckling. "Alright let's go." I say following you. "Just keep an eye out for..." I clear my throat. "The manticore!" I yell in a creepy voice. I chuckle a bit. "Ounce again. A joke." I say before you nag at me again. I look at you as you get mad and I start to laugh a bit.

"... I'm not amused Ash. At all." I say trying to sound alright, even though I'm still scared underneath all my fake bravery.

"Alright, where should we go? There are a few paths we can take." I say, looking around.

 

"What trail should we take? The East trail, or the Northwest Trail?" I ask, peering down the two paths.

As you say that I fly into a tree without you knowing. "This is gonna be hilarious." I say to myself. I see you looking around and calling my name. I stay up in the tree for a few more minutes. I see you freaking out so I move to the tree behind you. I swoop down behind you. "Boo." I say.

I jump forward and scream loudly. 

"AHH!!! I scream, running down the Northwest trail.

"Who was that! Where's Ash?!" I stop quickly and look around nervously.

"Where... Where am I? Ash? Ash?" I look around the dark forest.

"Ash... this isn't funny. Ash...? ASH?!" I keep looking around.

I fly in next to you laughing. "Oh you should have seen the look on your face!" I say laughing really hard. I fall down from laughing. "That was awesome!" I say. "Thanks for the laugh Escritor." I say patting you on the back. I chuckle a bit. I see an embarrassed/mad look on your face. ”What? It was a joke."

"You! YOU!!! A JOKE!? You nearly scared me to death! This trip can only get worse. I'd prefer a Manticore over your stupid childish pranks!" I said, taking a look around again.

"Now focus! I want to explore a little, you've got me interested." I said, walking down the path I had ran down previously.

"...man... i was really scared." I mumble to myself.

I just stare at you for a few seconds. "I was just trying to have fun!" I yell. Now I feel like you would rather get chased by a manticore than hang out with me!" I yell. "Why did I even bring you here..." I say. I put my head down and walk to a tree and sit down. I sigh in a bit of sadness.

"When you scare me like that, I can't control the immediate reaction. Now stand up.We have some exploring to do." I say, trotting back to you. I nudge you, but you won't stand up.

"Look, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you." I say, nudging you again.

"Please?" I ask again.
