Can anyone recommend any good trojan/ malware progs?

I'm... gonna just assume you mean protection AGAINST those things. D:

The Windows one in Windows 8 works fine, and if you're paranoid like me, Malwarebytes free version works well, and I also run Spybot S&D.

Anything Windows Defender misses, the other two catch.

(Malwarebytes will try to activate a trial version, you can just say no. Or cancel it. Whatever.)

well, I have Vista, soooooo.....yeah....

Tried Malwarebytes, and it was a trial, which expired. I'll test out Spybot. I may have used it before, because it sounds familiar, but....(can't remember)

In that case, I believe I used to use Avast, and I'm relatively sure a number of members use it as well.

 

Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D I use for their cleaning ability, not their active protection, so the free stuff always works fine, you just need to deactivate the "active protection" in MB when the trial is expired.
