Azure Shadow 45 December 25, 2014 Share December 25, 2014 My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: FluttershyHow did you find MLP Forums?: I watched a documentary that mentioned this forum, so I decided to check it out. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I saw documentaries on Netflix before I decided I had to see what the fandom was all about. I watched the first few episodes, and that turned into a binge-watch of all four seasons and both movies. I'm pretty shy, but here goes. I just recently got into the MLP scene, and I love it. I lurked on this forum for a while before working up the courage to actually introduce myself and become part of the community. I'm a 22-year-old woman who works at a veterinary clinic. I love to do craft projects. I mostly do sewing work, but I'll try just about anything at least once if it sounds fun or challenging. I haven't fully developed my skills yet, but I hope to be able to learn a lot. My other interests include video games and reading. I love all the characters, but I feel I relate to Twilight, Fluttershy and Rarity the most. I can't decide which I like more. I'm organized like Twilight, shy and a lover of animals like Fluttershy, and generous like Rarity (or so I'm told). I also feel somewhat unsure of myself, like I don't know who I am quite yet. I hope to find a place in this welcoming community.

Ryzu 984 December 25, 2014 Share December 25, 2014 Welcome to the forums! + Merry Christmas! You'll soon see that there's nothing to be shy about here, this is literally the only place on the internet that I have ever found that's safe. Literally everyone is willing to be friends with anyone, and debates are usually friendly and mature. This place actually affected my development as a person, making me so open to people that I'll tell anyone like my darkest secrets if the topic comes up. Plus I became a lot friendlier and more loving and accepting towards others. Have fun here! You said you don't know who you are, but you have to realize no one really does. The level of your modesty or arrogance can change what you believe. Get someone who really knows you to tell you who they think you are. You'll be surprised with the results. I certainly was; I always thought of myself as useless, a pushover, unwanted/unloved, but then there were times where I was able to hear what they think (Either from accidental eavesdropping, someone sticking up for me, or someone trying to cheer me up. Apparently the depressed community at my school think I'm awesome for being so "lighthearted" cuz I laugh at everything including severe injuries on myself and incredibly strong for resisting urges and standing up for people, or just standing up in general and claiming a spot as leader. I was jaw dropped by what I heard, and I tried to deny it, but looking at myself I knew I couldn't. Just ask people who care about you, it'll make pretty much anyone feel a lot better about themselves. 4 And I won't allow you to blind those who are important to me! catnet 9,359 December 25, 2014 Share December 25, 2014 Hey there, welcome to the forums! I find Fluttershy and Twilight easier to relate to as well, what with my bookworm status and general shyness. Everypony here is very friendly and easy to talk to though, so I'm finding that my anxiety isn't as strong now as it once was. Hopefully your stay here will help you discover who you are- you'll always have a place here with us

It's very reassuring to me to know how this site has affected you in such a positive way. I hope that will happen for me. I like to think of myself as accepting of people already, but I think I come off as unfriendly since I'm so shy. I certainly didn't think about asking others what they think of me. I usually end up wallowing in my own doubtful thoughts. I feel like I've had those problems you mentioned about being a pushover and useless, but I'm getting better about it, gaining more confidence in myself as I learn more about myself. Welcome! What documentary was it that mentioned us? Um, it was one on Netflix. I don't remember which one, but it was either A Brony Tale or Bronies. My memory leans me towards Bronies.
