I find it a coincidence that the Panthers and Seahawks are facing each other in a playoff game this year, in the Madden intro it shows them both in the NFC championship although the prediction was really close.

I just read up on the Lion's "pass interference" bad flag call.. ehem.

1. Does hitting the shoulder actually stop the ball from being caught? Some official sights say "no".

2. Missed tackles by the detroit defense amounted to more loss then the pass interference would have.

3. We would not even be looking at the play if it wasn't for the flag being thrown.

So, you are telling me that the Refs beat the lions and the Lions are considering suing the NFL Referee Offices?

At this point, the Ravens are once again living up to their road warrior reputation.  But NE has a first and goal and a chance to make it 14-7.  If the Pats don't get a touchdown here, the fans will boo the offense off the field, and rightfully so.

Brady just ran it in.  Touchdown!

Ravens 14 Patriots 7 and about Under a Minute left until we hit the 2nd Quarter

I picked the Patriots to win, but the Patriots D has been getting dominated.

Remember the fact the Steve Smith, Sr. Caught the Game Winning-TD Pass against New England Patriots Last Season and Tom Brady did not throw the Game winning TD. He threw a Game Ending INT, Incompletion when Steve Smith, Sr. was with Carolina Panthers. Last Time the Ravens and Patriots Met was last season when the Patriots won and that gave the Bengals the AFC North Division Title. Ravens won 2 out of last 3 Postseason Meetings against the Patriots.

The Ravens are starting to look a bit like the Patriots' kryptonite, aren't they?  They are ahead 14-7 now and seem to be moving the ball with greater ease through the game so far.  Pats need a better run game to keep the Ravens D honest.  If that doesn't happen soon the Pats will be upset once again.  And could you really call losing 3 out of 4 playoff meetings upsets?  :/

We have the game! yes! And @@Wonderb0lt, it looked like Brady was kicked back down onto the ground..

21-14 Baltimore at the half.

Flacco: 17 for 22 with 146 yds and 3 TDPs.

Brady: 15 for 24 with 202 yds, 1 TDP, and 1 INT (Interception lead to BAL touchdown that gave them the lead going into the half.)

Ugh.  Ravens have a halftime lead thanks to an uncharacteristic interception by Brady.

How can the Patriots do so well in the regular season and look invincible during the regular season...especially at freezing cold home games...and come up small in the playoffs??  :okiedokielokie:

But there's still a second half to go...ain't over til it's over.  :)

New England Gets the Ball to start the 2nd half. If Ravens win, they play Denver Broncos-Indianapolis Colts Winner by going to either Denver (1 Chance) or Indianapolis (2nd Chance)

If the Patriots win, they host the Winner from the Broncos-Colts Game.

AFC Championship is going to be on CBS (NFL on CBS).

2nd Half Starts Now.

oh and @@Wonderb0lt, Ohio State has not won the National Championship since 2002/2003 Fiesta Bowl National Championship. Urban Meyer has won his 1st 2 Games against teams with Heisman Trophy Winners. 1st win is 2006/2007 BCS National Championship against Ohio State With Heisman Trophy Winner Troy Smith. His 2nd win against the Heisman Trophy Winner is 2008/2009 BCS National Championship against Oklahoma Sooners led by Heisman Trophy Winner Sam Bradford. So, let me ask you, if you go to my latest topic. It has a poll. Will you reply on their and vote for representee?
