Recently, I've been seeing some notifications that some of my topics have been approved. What does that mean?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it means that there are posts in that said topic that require approval from moderator before they are shown and when the topic gets approved those posts can be seen and notification is sent to the OP of that topic.

It is a glitch. If a member posts in a topic you made, and that member's posts require approval to be visible to the board, you will get a notice as well. 

 

What is the moderation queue?

Is it dependent on the subforum though? Right now, there is a box above where I'm typing that says that a moderator will need to approve (this) post before its shown. Is it something that I've done before?

 

Also, this topic was apparently approved, so that's... Kind of amusing.

This is the Tech Support forum, no posts appear here unless we approve them.

 

They are unrelated processes using a similar base function.

Awesome. I'll go ahead and close this out. It is a notification issue we have been aware for a long time.
