Wouldn't Twilight and Sunset be very confused by the human world's depiction of

I mean, what if they saw a horse in the human world? It wouldn't be just like seeing a gorilla in our world, because Equestria doesn't seem to have that sort of horse. How surreal is that?

Yeah, I'm actually kind of surprised they didn't bring that up-they actually could have had a scene with Twilight trying to talk to a horse for like five minutes before realizing that horses in the human world can't speak like the ones in Equestria.

 

Though, I'm sure they are both intelligent enough to eventually figure it out, but the differences would still probably be pretty jarring for them.

That would make for quite the scene if either of them came across a horse and realized it was more akin to a manticore than a pony.

The delegates from Saddle Arabia (in Magic Duel) resemble horses significantly, and the term "horse" is used in several instances of the show, implying they have at least some resembling creature there. And to clarify that horses and not being 'combined' with ponies, in The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, Flam notes that, "Any horse can make a claim and any pony can do the same," implying that horses and ponies are separate creatures, unless he was just being stupid.

When I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was that it will be about Twilight's and Sunset's reaction to clop art of them

Yeah, there are ponies all around, but I don't think there are no horses. They mention horses in the show several times (and once even in a song). Maybe the term "horse" is just a general term for any equine being in their world, or maybe there actually are some horses there somewhere (Saddle Arabia maybe?). If there could be a Zebra, why not a horse?

True. But she might thought that it is a statue of some important equine celebrity in this new world, so she might asked people who is this statue depicting of and what important things did he do to afford for that (you know, like the Spike's crystal statue, or all those stained glass windows in Celestia's palace ). I'm also curious what would happen if she tried the "release from stone" spell on it
