Tyra tried to dodge the strike, but yelped as it cut along her chin. A small trickle of blood went down her face, and she scowled at the slight sting.

"This!" She barked, bringing her axe around to hopefully strike his armoured side. She hoped it would not be enough to injure him.

Chronos tried to block her blow, the blow didn't do much but the shock from the blow caused him to stumble. He got steady and swung his sword at her, he stopped the blade before it hit her and jumped forward, punching her in the jaw with an armored hoof. He then jumped back and got ready to defend, He knew that Tyra's ax was a fine weapon but not the best weapon for trying to get through his armor. It was like trying to cut down a tree with a kitchen knife, it is cutting just not very well.

But Chronos had to worry about the shock of Tyra's blows, it could leave him vulnerable.

Tyra blinked as the sword stopped just before her and yelped from the hard punch from Chronos' hoof. Why attack the jaw of all things, she needed that for biting!

She moved her jaw around, making sure it was still in its place, before charging toward the stallion. Just before getting to him, she struck the ground with her axe, which catapulted her up from the thrust, and started descending in a spinning attack toward him.

A more flashy move she'd picked up on her travels, hopefully it would work.

@@Unicorncob,

Chronos' eye grew wide as he jumped back . He landed in the stream, the water splashing as he lands. He stabbed his blade into the mud under the water, so he stays up. He climbed out on the other side of the stream. "Come and get me!" He said as he cleaned the mud off his blade. He got ready to defend again, He hoped the stream would slow Tyra down if she tried to charge him.

Tyra's strike missed its mark, creating a sizeable crack in the ground. Growling, she yanked the blade out from the earth and watched as Chronos splashed across the stream.

Smirking at his challenge, she charged toward him, attempting a hop over the stream and sneaking a curious glimpse below to see if the Kelpie was there.

Her landing was not exactly smooth, as she slipped up on the edge of the stream, knocking off her balance a bit.

Chronos saw how she landed on the edge of the stream and smirked. He ran forward, but instead of striking her, he just pushed her into the stream. He laughed "Looks like you're sleeping with the fishes" He joked before back stepping away from the stream and got into a defensive stance.

Tyra got into a defensive position as Chronos approached, and blinked as he halted.

A yelp escaped her as she was pushed into the water. As strong as she was, she wasn't exactly bulky.

She simply sat up with a rather grumpy face; her mane, fur, and wings of her helmet dripping. She leapt out next to Chronos and shook herself off like a dog, before going for another swing to his other side; hopefully to get a little vengeance.

Chronos braced for it and was struck, the shock from the blow caused him to lose balance but he was able to regain it, just in time to jump back. He began to breath out his nose and began to move his hoof across the ground like a bull. He pulled his sword close, the tip pointing directly at Tyra like a lance. He went in for a cavalry charge. His horn and sword pointing at her. He planned on knocking her back into the stream again, but this time seriously.

Tyra cursed to herself that her little revenge plan hadn't worked. She let out a snort and positioned her head so her axe was in a defensive position. She managed to fix him a daring smirk, as if to say 'Bring it'.

Maybe, if he got close enough to her, she could tackle him back into the water...

Tyra grunted as she was struck in the chest and sent hurdling into the water, her axe dropping to the grass. She lay on her side for a few seconds, a few drops of blood trickling into the stream, before getting up and shaking herself off.

"You are certainly a challenge, I will say," she smirked, and picked up her weapon upon re-emerging, "But I am far from finished!"

She began another charge, hoping to headbutt him in the chest.

Chronos ducked under the water, grabbed his helmet and put it on. He came back up just to get knocked back down into the water by Tyra. He got back to his hooves and said "Same here!" He said trying to hit her in the jaw with the pommel of his sword like a mace. If she had a broken jaw, she couldn't use her ax.

Tyra yelped as she was struck in the jaw, dropping her axe into the water. "Agh, you are not holding back!"

She smirked and raised a hoof. "Good, I would expect no less."

She went for a left hook to his face, hopefully dealing some revenge for her mouth. Admittedly, she was beginning to feel pain in it, just from talking.

Her hoof hit his steel helmet, Chronos was fine but his head was knocked back, causing him to stumble. "Three words: Steel. Plate. Armor." He said before charging forward and trying to cut down on her shoulder to weaken her enough for him the bring her down and finish the duel.

Tyra snorted and flicked her hoof, glaring daggers at the stallion as he charged for her, aiming for near her neck. She had to react quickly.

She remembered a sneaky trick her brother had taught her when she was younger, on how to counter charging enemies.

She took a deep breath, and let Chronos come.

As soon as he was close to her, she dodged as fast as she could, and attempted a headbutt square on the chin.

Her dodge wasn't too quick, as she'd gotten nicked just above the shoulder.

Chronos dodged his attack somewhat and he saw that he was vulnerable. He turned quickly to defend himself and blocked with his sword. Since they were in the stream where the floor was muddy and it was hard to stay balance, Chronos' back leg slipped slightly.

Tyra managed to get a bit of an attack in, smirking as the two ponies tried to position themselves on the muddy terrain.

She noticed Chronos slip, taking the chance to leap at him, and hopefully pounce him to the ground and keep him pinned. Not to drown him of course, that wouldn't be fair. Or nice.

Chronos regained his balance and raised his blade up and brought it down with every bit of force he had to come crashing down, right before it could make contact, he turned the blade so the flat side of the blade hit Tyra or the ground, depending on whether she could dodge in time or not.

Tyra glanced up and gave a look of sheer 'Oh crap' as she watched the razor-sharp blade shoot down for her skull.

With a loud CLANG, she was knocked into the water with a splash.

Laying still for a few seconds, she slowly hoisted herself back up from the ground, coughing and spitting out water and mud. The sheer force of the impact left her entire underside muddied up.

"I have seen enough of you two quarreling like a pair of foals" Nymphaea said sternly as she emerged from the thick foliage of the forest. "Wasting energy now will only cost you greatly on the journey ahead. Prepare to leave, you have already wasted enough time. We will be lucky to leave the forest before we lose the sun" the kelpie continued, disregarding Chronos and Tyra and kicking dirt over the remnants of the fire.

Chronos growled at the return of the kelpie.

"We were just dueling, it isn't a real fight." He said climbing out of the stream and holstering his weapon. "Also it is 'good' to see you have returned from where ever you went." He said before looking at Tyra, "Get out of the stream, I will heal your wounds. " He said and removed his helmet and pulled down the coif. He sighed, well he enjoyed the time without the Kelpie will it lasted, but now it will be back to arguing and possible threats.

"Ah, it is good to finally see you," Tyra grunted, finding it a little difficult to speak with her sore jaw. She still managed to force a happy grin onto her face.

With another cough, she got out of the stream, a little limp on her left foreleg. She'd taken more of a beating than she thought, but it was really enjoyable! She loved an all out battle, sparring or not.

She sat by the camp, waiting for Chronos to come and heal her.

"We may call this a draw, yes?" She smirked.

Chronos used his magic to heal Tyra before looking at the kelpie "I didn't expect you to be joking, you don't seem to be that humorous." He said as he finished healing Tyra. It was mostly just her jaw he had to fix so it was easy for him. He decided to ask the kelpie something "So, how is the silver poisoning doing, has it pasted..." He said, not looking at her. He put his shield on his back and then looked at Tyra "Draw... but if she didn't interrupt, I would have won..." He said, smiling under his helmet. He took off his surcoat and ringed it out before putting it back on, over the chestplate, the sides had slight dents where Tyra had struck.

"You wish," she snorted, smirking up at him, "but, my thanks for the healing. These cuts shall heal over time."

She perked up as she realised something Chronos had said, and her head shot around to look at the Kelpie.

"Silver poisoning?!" She yelped, hopping onto her hooves and closely circling the mare, inspecting her carefully, "Are you well, friend? Did that wolf creature poison you?"
