My Very First Pony Art

So today I decided to teach myself how to draw ponies. This is the result:

He's based on me, I guess. Y'know, with the Mario hat and the Sonic logo cutie mark. Yeah... opinions?

 

I'm also planning on using him as my mascot, like for in my sig and stuff.

But practice makes perfect, and now I'm a good vector artist! (the blueprint/sketch I need to improve my skills on though : )

You have the anatomy almost perfect! You just need a tool to make it not so sketchy. If you used different sized brushes it would work much better. But for a first time pony drawing its very good!

If you keep on doing it, you'll get better!! But it's pretty good, especially for a first!

It's my drawing tablet. It really sucks. And a bad drawing tablet paired with Paint.NET equals screw up. And actually technically it's not really my very first pony art, it's more my very first ORIGINAL pony art. I tried drawing Rainbow Dash and Derpy on paper once. Lemme put it to you this way: it was a disaster.
