It's time for hands   ...clock hands!  I was messing around and came up with the idea for a Lyra clock.  So I drew it out and GIMPed it.  It turned out neat.  Someone should totally make an actual clock like this, for reals.

I like the idea. You should actually try to invest in these pony clocks and sell them. I'd personally buy one if I saw it.

That is such an amazingly clever idea! A pony clock is cool on it's own, but it's funny that you used Lyra specifically due to her fandom backstory fitting so well into that cleverness. 

 

And the overall art just looks really great! I could see people actually investing in such a clock, it looks like it would be pretty awesome actually. I could see it becoming a fairly popular product, but regardless the art is good!

Hey thanks, I may have stumbled onto something worth while here.  I'm sure I'll never get around to doing anything more with it ...maybe, but I'm content knowing I threw the idea out there.  Until recently, I haven't done any digital art in a LONG time.  With the few things I've done as of late, I've learned something and picked up new tricks from each one upon completion (that info should be incentive for others).  I've been getting faster too, but with that comes stupid mistakes.  I look at the Lyra clock and see a few things I missed, but I don't mind, it still looks alright, I'm easy-going.  I drew Lyra with a Sharpie marker then fixed her up a bit in gimp.  Sharpies are great.  I just started using them for art purposes.
