Bird Mom 902 February 1, 2015 Share February 1, 2015 (edited) 'Monsutābōru' means 'Poké Ball' in Japanese. I had fun making this.. Lightwing 12,980 February 1, 2015 Share February 1, 2015 The color scheme is excellent. Pleasant to the eye,yet keeping the charm of the oc. The adding of the two bracers on one of her hooves fit the pony is a cute detail that increases the enjoyability. Maybe the eyes are too big,but that's more a bit of a peeve of mine. Good job,and keep up progressing ~~ Forum Rules - Forum FAQ - What do you think of me? ~~

AlbaTross 1,586 February 1, 2015 Share February 1, 2015 Actually, monster ball is English for monster ball, but Pokeball is the term used in the West, and if you want to believe katakana words are somehow mystical Japanese words, then go right ahead. Perhaps it was wrong of me to show you behind the curtain. Nice art though.
Bird Mom 902 February 1, 2015 Author Share February 1, 2015 Actually, monster ball is English for monster ball, but Pokeball is the term used in the West, and if you want to believe katakana words are somehow mystical Japanese words, then go right ahead. Perhaps it was wrong of me to show you behind the curtain. Nice art though. I did my research and Poké itself is Vietnamese, not Japanese. Katakana and hirogana is the Japanese writing system, and kanji are 2000+ Chinese characters also adopted into the Japanese language. But thank you, anyway! "Pay attention to these petals, Steven.
