Romans... What describes a roman? Proud, Brave, Strong... All are true understatements.

 

Gaius Julius Caesar of the family Julii and all of us , declared criminals by the Roman Senate! 50 of our own, Soldiers of the 13th legion fought a thousand of Pompey's Legionaries and died defending Caesar's Tribute, Mark Antony. Now... the Republic is in the Hooves of mad Stallions . If Caesar turns himself in... then the republic will fall to tyranny. But he has decided to march with us, the Legio tertia decima Gemina to Rome and chase those maniacs out of Rome! So now we march on our home, but for a good cause! The Republic has fallen ill and dying. But we shall heal her, with the blood tyrants, madmen, and maniacs! So, let us march forward to bring her the medicine!

 

I, Maximus Sextilius Eborius, of the thirteenth legion, first cohort. We, Who carries the Aquila into battle, Who inspires the entire legion, Who marches forward to fight those that threaten the Republic's integrity, are ready to die to the last Pony!... So! sharpen your blade, count your javelins, and say your last prayers. Nam et de gloria Romae !

2. This takes place before Celestia and Luna so I am making it a requirement for all RPs to know at least the names of the roman gods.
3. They also need to know some terms like Testudo, Aquila, Legion, Cohort, Century, Gladius, ect. Just look up Define -Word-. I just want people to know what the characters are talking about.
4. If you are going to curse, curse in latin (use a translator)
5. *optional rule* Try to latinize names if it is possible, just to both make it more authentic and because latin names just sound cool.  Example: Tempus Faenum (Times Hay)

Description (depictio): Tall 5'9", Red coat, dark red mane and tail with yellow highlights. His mane coat, mane, and tail is well groomed. He wears the common armor of the Legion, the Lorica segmentata. But instead of the cassis, he wears the pelt of a wolf. He carries a shield (scutum) and a Gladius. Strapped to him is a banner that has a Aquila (golden eagle) on the top.
Experience (experientia): He has been part of the army for 19 years.

short Back story: He was born a proletarian and joined the army once he was old enough. After a few years of being in the military he has made a name for himself. He had been part of the 13th legion for years, and He would follow Caesar through the afterlife and back.
Personality (personalitatem): He may seem like a no nonsense pony when on the battle field, but when he doesn't have to be serious. He is a great drinking buddy.

I take it that this is a war rp, but I have a few questions.

 

1. Can we have more than one oc.

2.Can we have OC's act as civilians.

Yes, this seems very intricate, and well thought out. Would a military doctor type character be viable?

it probably wouldn't be too advance but yeah a legionaire with some medical experience is allowed.
