ThePoniMan 164 March 15, 2015 Share March 15, 2015 I managed to find someone to sing my song about Twilight Sparkle! It's so exciting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebmZ-x0XY8E 3 "In Poniet Russia, Joseph Stallion is you."
I'mNotaDJ 63 March 15, 2015 Share March 15, 2015 A very cute little number you have here. Production is fairly polished and the vocals were treated well enough. My ears keep waiting for the texture of the instrumental to thicken up a bit to build in interest and complexity somewhat. Likewise with regards to the harmonic progression. It errs a bit on the side of repetitive, but again this is merely my opinion. Still, a solid effort in song writing right here. Nicely done. This is one of my first ever songs, and I have a lot to learn, but I plan to keep working on improving "In Poniet Russia, Joseph Stallion is you." PlunderSteed 1,252 March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 It's good You can kind of tell it's sung by a non-native English speaker. That gives it kind of a cute accent, and your voice is good. A few words are mispronounced, which isn't really a big deal. In the future, it might be a good idea to run your vocal track by an editor who can give feedback on it before you publish. ThePoniMan 164 March 20, 2015 Author Share March 20, 2015 Thank you so much for your response! You can kind of tell it's sung by a non-native English speaker. I'm not actually the one who sang it, though. I had someone else do it, and he is not a native English speaker. Haha. I did notice he pronounced 2 or so words incorrectly, but I just let it slide this time. Next time I will be sure to be more proactive with that 1 "In Poniet Russia, Joseph Stallion is you." simba86 1,541 April 6, 2015 Share April 6, 2015 Interesting, but the singer does not sound like english is his first language, like how he pronounces "pony" as "pawny" and "live" as "leaf" for example. It was ok but it started to get kinda repetitive It's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees!
