ponies, meet Bronies

We've already seen that the world of EqG is similar enough to ours to have texting, email, YouTube, and probably most other stuff of that same kind of nature.  For the sake of discussion, let's assume that Bronies exist in the world of Equestria Girls.  If that were the case, that begs the question.  How would each of the mane six react to Bronies?  If Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie and Rarity all decided to go to the human world with Twilight Sparkle and Spike, and they discovered Bronies while they were there, how would they all react?  After all, it would definitely have to be some serious news that not only are most of their lives part of a cartoon show of all things but that there are humans who dress up as them go to yearly conventions about them well.  I imagine each of them would handle the news a little bit differently from the others.

This could get very complicated, very fast.

Perhaps it would be a good subject for an RP... or a fanfic. Who knows.

I'll give this idea some thought. Maybe I'll write a fic about it someday.

Nifty topic.

My own fantasy that I have been going with for awhile is that Princess Celestia actually contacted Lauren Faust to make a show based off of Equestria. Celestia needs volunteers to join the ponies there due to a soul imbalance (like with the excuse as to why only Twi (and spike) could use the mirror) and she thought a mass market method of making people fall in love with her world could make that possible. (Seriously, how awesome would that be!? Oh and I VOLUNTEER!)

 

As to how the Mane 6 would respond in your scenario:

 

Twilight: Disbelief and possibly denial. It does not make logical sense, so it would be blocked out

Rarity: Would probably soak up any and all adoration she could get. She would milk it.

Pinky Pie: She already knew about this, years ago. No surprise to her.

Apple Jack: "Aww shucks. Who'da thought that anything like this could be true"

Rainbow Dash: Similar response to rarity but for a slightly different reason.

Fluttershy: Would probably just shut down, catatonic state.

Spike: Ummmmmmm........ Twilight?!

Funny. Considering that halfway through a fanfiction I have in mind, my character reveals he's from a world where the world of Equestria (and Disney) are considered to be fairy tales. I'd think the Mane 6 would find it odd, but not incomprehensible. That's my short answer.
