Ruby is an offensive type. She uses her offensive skills as her defense. Sapphire is a defensive type. She can multitask maintaining the shield and perform other actions. She is defensivly trying to knock the marine's leg out by bucking it.

 

Tech has hunkered down controlling the gate. He is also waiting for his feathers to return. Total defensive techno control.

Has slate blue (purpleish blue) coat, white/very light grey tipped wings. Cutiemark looks like a diamond with another heartshaped diamond inside of it. Has some pretty big mane and tail, but will cut it if necessary. Mane and tail are dark brown with light brown highlights/strikes through it.
