"Thank you Xeno... Pray tell what is your species called? If we are to be on better terms I would at least know your kinds name"

 

He looked around, taking in the scenery.

Rainbow looked at Tech, "Yeah, shes the one, she outside talking to that giant thing trying to calm down the situation, but i would be careful around that thing, something came out earlier and dragonknapped our friend,"

Twilight Looked at Reven, "We are Equestrian, but there are many other species here as well, dragons, and diamond dogs just to name a few." Then Twilight looked down at the ground feeling upset, "But, the visitor we had came through the portal in the library and took one of my closest friends and left again. He was my baby dragon."

Tech says, "The name's Techno Blitz. But my allies and friends call me Tech. Dimstar is a necromancer who is the faithful student of Queen Equinox. I am a part of a rebellion attempting the overthrow the dark Night Queen."

 

Tech turns away from the device and begins to return to Twilight and the others outside. When he returns he looks to Twilight and says, "From what I can see, without taking it appart, your device seams to have malfunctioned from its base design. I can fix it but I need permission of Twilight to do so."

It took a while for Swift Fang to process the information, but she got it implemented into her brain. Dimstar's a necromancer? His name is Techno Blitz...

 

Alright. I'll keep that in mind. She thought to herself. This portal... It might have more potential than we think. She looked at the sparks that flew around. In the mean time, she decided to make small talk with Rainbow, as she followed her outside.

 

"So, um... How do you know Twilight?" She whispered, trying to start a conversation. "I didn't really pay attention to the Elements of Harmony, or the princess business mainly because I've been...-" On the run. "-Busy."

Twilight turns around to see Tech standing in the middle of her front door, "Well," Twilight said as she looked around for a certain pony, "I gave up on it, just don't tell Rainbow, I can't seem to figure it out, it worked the last time i used it but now, its just causing problems, if you can get it to work more power to you."

Rainbow looked at Swift Wing well keeping Lightning up from falling over, "Well I've know her for awhile, I actually met her when she came to town setting up Princess Celestia's summer sun celebration, i was in charge of keeping the sky clear," and she pointed at herself proudly, "which i did in ten seconds flat. But im sorry to keep this sort i need to get him out there to apologize to the big guy outside, maybe we can talk later?"

 

Just as Twilight finished her sentence Rainbow And Lightning made there way back outside.

Rainbow helped Lightning over to the giant figure and she nudged him in his side, Lightning looked at the space marine, "I'm sorry for flying off the handle, i don't take well to threats and when our princesses are made fun of i get a little upset. I didn't mean to cause a problem with you."

Reven almost stepped back at the word Dragon, but held his ground.

 

"Dragon? You had one as a pet? Your kind is very strange indeed."

 

Reven rubbed the back of his head feeling somewhat under prepared for something like this.

 

"Well... I'm sure he should be fine, he is a dragon after all. But if I can I will assist you in recovering your dragon"

 

Reven looked down at the Xe... Equestrian and nodded.

 

"It is not your fault Equestrian, I acted unjustly, you were well within your right to act"

Tech winks at Twilight and says, "I won't and you can bet you bits on it. I will make that thing purr like a baby dragon getting a belly rub."

 

He then realizes that origin Twilight's almost brother was a baby dragon.

 

He quickly adds, "Sorry if that hit a nerve. I should have a report of repair by sunset."

 

With that he heads back inside and begins his examination of the protal in ernest. He runs every type of diagnostic he can think of. He also uses his technopathic abilities to help prepare n said examination.

Swift Fang yawned sleepily as she walked outside. The sun made her drowsy, and everything appears so bright. Despite the sun's rays, she remained awake, not wanting to miss any of this. And plus, she needed people to trust her. As much as she wants to change, she just can't. She needs to bite something in order to stay sane. Swift no longer could take the sun and went back inside with Techno Blitz.

 

"How long do you think it will take you to finish it?" She asked with a yawn.

Lightning begins to get his feeling back in his legs enough to almost fully hold himself up, "If you don't mind, i would like to be your friend," Lightning holds his hoof out in front of him hoping to receive a shake of the Space Marines Hand.

as you begin to look over the machine you notice that it is powering up again, although this time its a different sound then last time, as you stand there staring at a portal opens up in front of you

 

---Meanwhile----

 

Back in a human world James was looking at John, "So, are you going to answer me?" John snapped to attention, "Sorry Sir, Yes Sir," James walked over to John, "Very well son," he said as he placed his hand on his shoulder. Just as James began to walk back to his desk one of his men ran into the briefing room, "Sir, the portal has opened up again."

Tech records everything that is happening. Using his technopathic ability he also records how the power flows and to where the Portal leads. He makes sure to be ready just incase it is the same group that took spike. He draws with a wing the Equinoxian Dessert Eagle.

 

"Hey yall it opened again!" He yells to the others out side.

Everyone who was standing within earshot of the yell came back inside, Rainbow tried to move as quick as she could, but with carrying Lightning as well it made it harder. "Hey, if your in a hurry just leave me here." Lightning said to Rainbow. She looked at him and smiled then took off into the Library. He wanted to go inside to but his legs just didn't have enough strength yet to hold him completely up, so he sat there and waited.

 

---Meanwhile----

 

James and John stood at the entrance to the portal, "Remember, don't fire until fired upon, we are on a scouting mission only, and who knows when we can get back." James said, with his weapon at the low ready  he walked into the portal. John was a little hesitant but ran into the portal as well.

 

As James exited the portal on the other side an animal was standing there staring at him, he wasn't sure how to approach the situation but he lowered his weapon. "I don't mean you any harm, we come in piece." James thought to himself, I'm talking to animals, as he stood there John appeared behind him.

Tech puts is gun away and says, "Then let me be the first to say welcome. BTW what is your world called?"

 

Tech examines him and looks to see if anymore come out. He then resumes his study of the gate. He looks very out of place even though the others there look similar to him.

 

He looks to be making notes and designs for something as he studies the gate.

Swift blinked herself awake after hearing him yell loudly. She didn't notice she fell asleep, which panicked her. She swiftly got up from the ground and looked at the opened portal, which shocked her. It was almost as if it came straight out of a sci-fi novel. She was slightly startled as she looked at it, but nevertheless intrigued. What could be on the otherside of it? Perhaps... That missing boy everybody has been talking about? She didn't really know, nor did she really want to find out, but it struck her as something so interesting.

 

"...I have a bad feeling about this." She said, looking at it. "Where does it go?" She looked at them all, expecting some sort of an answer from the... Things.

James is thrown off by the fact the animal in front of him  has just spoken, "Um, I'm from Earth. were just here as a scouting party looking for intelligent life, which it looks like we found. Is there anyone here that needs any help?" James said looking over the room, noticing that all the animals in the room where pretty much the same but different colors. after his realiztion of the different animals in the room the portal closes down behind him, "Well, it looks like we are stuck here for now, Unless you can get it working John."

 

John looks over the portal and give a thumbs up, "I can give it a quick look at and see if i might be able to link it our world, its going to take me sometime to do a diagnostic, but i should have it in about an hour."

 

(OOC: I know I'm controlling Storm Human Character, but its ok, just so you guys know.)

After a bit and when the gate closes tech turns to Twilight and says, "I can fix it. It has a rift in it linking multiple worlds. I have recorded at least three dimensional cordnants. Earth, Equestria and Equinox. Space Marine, what is your world called? I am planing a temporal control device. It should stabilize the portal and allow for imput to activate it. The rift was made because many worlds are trying to link at the same time."

"Earth? Is that some sort of a fruit...?" Swift mumbled to herself. She didn't care much of what Blitz said, all she knew is that there was some sort of food that was waiting to be eaten. She has a soft side for fruit and food in general, so she was really happy. "Well, take me to this Earth! Don't worry, bat pony love all sorts of fruit, I'm sure Earth is delicious!" Swift drooled in excitement, barely containing herself as she thinks of the taste of the fruit. It was at that point that she realised that they can not come from a fruit, as much as she thought hard about it.

 

"...Earth isn't a fruit... Is it?" She said with disappointment. "Ah, oh well. I'm not really sure if anybody needs help, because I can't account for every pony in Equestria." She looked rather angry, and started playing with her lip piercing on the right.

James takes his backpack off his back and digs through it to find an apple in one of his pockets, he reaches out to give it Swift Wing, "Its not much, but since you had a craving for fruit maybe this will help?"

Twilight walks over to the portal, "why didn't I think of that, Tech your genius."

 

John sits next to Tech, "I might be of assistance with your problem here, the gateway seems to be trying to connect to all the worlds at once, but if you tone down the frequency between the worlds that should allow better control from this end."

"An.. Apple?" She looked at it as a pool of drool began to form in her mouth. "Heh...Heheheheeheh~!" She began to laugh uncontrollably and her pupils grew extremely small. It was almost as if her instincts had taken over. Her wings opened and she opened her mouth to reveal large, sharp fangs, getting ready to bite. She almost instantaneously took the apple and bit into it with her fangs. You could almost see the apple's juices drain, as it's colour began to fade. After all of the colour was gone, she took a large bite out of it and the apple was all gone.

 

"...Don't give me anymore apples." She said embarrassed with herself.

 

"Oh, right. My species. I'm a Bat Pony. It's less common than the unicorn, and the pegasus, and the earth pony. But we're just as important! I think..." She looked away.

James found that the little bat pony in front of him grew on him, "You know you guys are kind of cute, and you don't have to worry about anymore apples, that was the only one i had. Although i did pack a couple of MRE's in my bag if you want any of those, there not very good, but they do fill you up."

Tech smiles and says, "I only have one problem. If I can't get these materials I will have to wait for my fortress' portal to open and get them from the fortress."

 

Tech lists of everything he will need. Twilight knows she has all of them but a clear crystal orb.

 

Tech then says, winking to twilight, "Thanks sweets. I do try my best. It is what i am good at after all."

 

He says to the human, "That is a good idea and it won't damage the signal range either. We may even be able to open the gate to another world and allow for stable crossing to said world for extended periods of time."

Reven looked around for a second and shrugged.

 

"Ultramar. That's my Chapter planet. But I won't be using that portal. Warp Traval is not something I take very well"

 

Reven looked to the humans and stepped closer, still towering above even them.

 

"You come from Earth? But Earth was Destroyed Years ago. And what kind of gear is that? Your Imperial guard correct?"

Twilight watched as Tech continued to go over the machine, "At some point, I would like to learn what I can about your world, and possibly share some information, if that would be OK with you?" she said with a smile.

 

John looked at Tech, "I've worked on plenty of energy equipment, This should be easy to get working again." John looked at his computer module on his arm and noticed one thing out of place. "Damn it, my computer isn't working, this might take longer then originally planned."

James looked at the big figure standing before him, "Fee, fi, foe, fumm, What bean stock did you fall from?" he said in a joking tone as he scanned the Marine from his feet to his head. "I'm pretty sure Earth isn't destroyed yet, at least i don't think so being i just came from there, but as for my gear, its special forces issue optical camouflage." he turned on his suit's power module and disappeared for a few seconds and then reappeared out of thin air, "and what is this Imperial Guard you mentioned? It must be from where you are from i take it?"

John glanced over towards James, "You might not want to waste the energy core on your suit sir. My Computer isn't working which means I can't give an accurate ETA until I've looked the tech over, but we might be here a while and there isn't any way to charge your suit once it's been depleted."

 

He paused, "Well... There isn't a way yet. Worst case scenario for that is that we can't go back for a while, and I have to set up the solar panels packed into my bag... But those would take forever to charge it."

 

His warning given, John walked over to begin his examination of the portal device. He directed his next question towards the ponies, "What sort of energy did you use to power this?"

 

"If my computer was working, I could just scan for an energy frequency..." John thought, annoyed.

Storm ran up to the two newcomers, "Hi there! You guys seem nice, will you be my friends too?" He asked. "Yeah! Me too, me too! Then Stormy and I can throw you a party! Well... Maybe after we get poor little Spikey back..." Pinkie pitched in.

James shook his head in agreement, "That's a good point, don't wan't to lose our tech, being that this suit is only a prototype, we don't even know how long its going to work."

 

James looks down at the Blue Pegasus, "I see your pretty excited, Names James," he said as he put his hand to shake, "Maybe I can get your names." He looks over to the overly excited Pink one and questions, " What happened to this Spike?"

 

 

---Meanwhile----- 

 

Sitting outside by himself, Lightning tried to listen to all the commotion that was going on inside, he could hear two new voices but wasn't sure if they where pony or something else. He thought to himself, 'If these are enemies, i would never be able to live myself, not with my friends inside." I tried to stand again, but with his feeling in his legs still regaining feeling it was hard for him to stand.

Storm happily put his hoof in the creature's hand to shake, "I'm Storm Shine, but everypony just calls me Storm! And that's my marefriend Pinkamena Diane Pie, but she's just goes by Pinkie or Pinkie Pie usually..." He paused, "Wait, what happened to Spike?"

 

Pinkie seemed to (literally) deflate slightly. "Something that looked a little like you guys came through the portal and snatched little Spike before running off... Then the portal thingy closed." She explained, gesturing towards James and John.
