There was a time when we had a cool badge
And its design was cool
And the name inviting
There was a time when achievement equals grey
And the forums was a game
And the game was exciting
There was a time
Then it all went wrong

 

I dreamed a dream I'd be a certified brony
The numbers were high
And shit worth posting
I dreamed that the certifiedbronybadge would never die
I dreamed that Feld0 would be forgiving
Then I was young and dumb as hell
And posts were made and read and mocked
There was no ransom to be paid
No warning points
No char lim placed

 

But the admins come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dream to shame

 

With motivation on my side
It filled my days with endless wonder
It took my postcount in its stride
But it was gone when 2014 came

 

And I still dream it'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather!

 

I had a dream that I would be
Promoted to a certif brony
So different now, from what it seemed
Now Feld0 has killed the dream I dreamed
