My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Applejack

How did you find MLP Forums?: Online

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Son

Hi. I apologise if this is the wrong place to post but really need some advice.

My son is 10 years old and states he's a brony and is obsessed with mlp which I fully suport. He's asked to go to bronycon at Manchester. All I want to know is, is bronycon ok for him? is he ok to go?. It's not just for adults?

Thank you for your time

Sara

Sara, speaking as a father recently coming off of a con I may be in a unique pisition to privide some insight here.

I can't speak for the Manchester convention, but I can tell you that most Brony conventions do have plenty of younger fans your son's age. Some actually have events exclusive to the under 12 audience as well. Most of the panels that have the actors from the show will give preferential treatment to children (first dibs on questions and front row seating). I can almost guarantee that your 10 year old will have a blast. I would not have any concerns with bringing your son.

And good for you for being an open minded parent. :)

It should be fine. I went last year (I'm only thirteen myself) and there were lots of younger people there, lots even younger than me. It is a very safe place, there are lots of dedicated staff there to make sure. It's great that you're so supportive of your son, I wish my parents were like that! :D

The artwork to the left of the signature is of my new *under construction* OC and was lovingly

drawn by @ThePiDay. I'm incredibly grateful for and delighted with his work.
