Unlikeable Pony 2,700 April 23, 2015 Share April 23, 2015 Based on a presentation from the last toy fair, it seems Hasbro considers the target demographic for Equestria Girls to be primarily ages 5-10, but also includes anyone older than 10 based on the +. You know, I gotta say: is it just me or does the little girl playing with the flip and whirl rainbow dash look older than 6? XD (about 7 I'd say). I just find it funny for the 3-6 tag is all. I swear though, those preschool toys look like nightmare fuel.
Ashen Pathfinder 16,163 April 23, 2015 Share April 23, 2015 But seeing how popular the show got, and that older males started to watch the show too, they decided to aimed at an older audience (that's what happened with Twilight's Kingdom...) I wouldn't say that Twilight's Kingdom is an example as such. Plenty of young girls can love and appreciate a bit of action in their animated programs. Pathfinder I Sojourner I Corsair | Zu'hra I Autumn | Scarlet Willow | Gypsy | Silverthorn | Crystal Whisper | Radiant Historia | And many other OCs~ Matching signatures with mah Bestie MOONLIGHT <
MAIKUN 262 April 23, 2015 Share April 23, 2015 As for my opinion, MLP should be targeted for all boys and girls because they're Bronies and Pegasisters. Like me, I joined the fan community on November 24th, 2013 as a Brony, because it's an awesome show. This year is 2015, I will be celebrating my 2nd anniversary of being a Brony on November 24th, 2015. Except for the toys from Hasbro and Playskool, they're targeted for girls.
