I know this has been discussed before, and many bronies fear threads like this...

But when/why would the brony fandom end.

It's just been on my mind lately.

when? maybe not for a long time... maybe the fandom will continue after FIM

 

why will it end? who knows... could be many reasons...

Possible reasons the fandom will end:

 

1.)  An alien race of super intelligent equines makes first contact with Earth and is offended by MLP's inaccurate depiction of horses, and threatens to destroy the planet unless we eradicate every trace of it.

2.)  The government gets ahold of brony DNA and uses it to create a weapon that targets bronies.

3.)  An angry, anti-brony time traveler from the future goes back and stops FIM from ever being made.

4.)  The Earth runs out of color, and we can no longer color in the ponies.

5.)  The Earth is swallowed by a 4th dimensional killer space whale.
