It should be noted that Tirek's not like that by default---he, like Chrysalis and The Dazzlings, has to essentially level-grind first. That's why I actually have 2 categories---one for default strength, and one for enhanced strength. Sunset Shimmer w/ Twilight's Element 7. Dazzlings 8. Starlight Glimmer From what we've seen, the Dazzlings are the weakest of the villains who can absorb energy. And while enslaving others is impressive, Sunset was able to do it almost instantly while the Dazzlings had to gain influence slowly. And while Starlight's magical abilities were impressive, she's being compared to extremely powerful monsters here, so she doesn't stack up as well here as she would elsewhere. And I think there is one thing you forget about Chrysalis: "Empowered" she is just a bit above Celestia. But crucial is that she didn´t take the love power from everypony in Equestria, which is what Tirek did (with magic power). She only took the love power from one single pony who had an enormously large amount of love power. Therefore, to compare the power levels of Tirek and Chrysalis, we would have to look at Tirek´s when he, in a not-weakened state, sucked up the magic of a really powerfull unicorn, like Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, or pre-Princess Twilight Sparkle. Then the power level would be comparable. In my headcanon, Chrysalis would be about as powerfull as full-powered Tirek if she had access to the Chrystal Heart, which, again in my headcanon, is the consecrated love power of hundreds upon hundreds of generations of chrystal ponies.
