open Trouble in Ponyville (adventure rp)

 Humble backed up slowly, hoping not to get involved in fighting alongside professionals, especially against his own shadow, for many of the obvious reasons,"You know....", he  started to say, "I think all of you got this....no point in me slowing you down...I'm probably better off here...seeing if there are others who could use my help...or just hide in the closet...not like I could be of any real help..." not realizing his surroundings he backed up into a shelf, knocking it slightly, causing an object to fall on his head and onto the floor, "OW...ugh....wow this is not my day" he mumbled to himself, reaching for whatever fell on the floor, "I am such a-........" taking a look at the object, revealed to be an interesting item,"a pan flute...." he exclaimed to himself.

Blizzard was still in his Maverick style, but wasn't about to let somepony talk about themselves like that, "Hey, come on man, you're not useless, you just gotta find your special skill. Don't talk down on yourself like that, maybe you can use that flute. Humble was it? Maybe you can be of use to our team, you just gotta have a sense of determination. Ok?"

Spellbind sighed as she looked at the stallion. He reminded her very much of herself.

 

Nevertheless, she decided to go over there and offer him as best motivation as she could, which she didn't think was very high standard.

 

"Hi," she greeted. "Are you sure you don't want to come along? If you really want to stay, I can stay with you."

Kaymen noticed the cowering pony "Pff, if he wants to stay let him, if he thinks he'll be dead weight maybe he will be..." Kaymen didn't like being associated with weaklings like him. The bat that had followed him from the forest started screeching at Kaymen "GAH! Not so loud! ...guh...you have to try and make me like them, don't you...?" The bat just nodded "whatever..." He just floated around with his fore hooves crossed

"No-No it's fine, I can come with you" Humble quickly replied, seeing as he could be more of a burden by staying, and that he should be more helpful towards those trying to help him, especially the mares. He stood up straighter,"so, uh, forest, right?" he exclaimed, putting the pan flute in his bag without realizing.

Kaymen just floated to the door "well, if we're gonna go, follow me...or else you're all gonna get lost..." Kaymen flew outside and up, before anyone could follow where he was going, he just sat perched on the roof, waiting for everypony to come out and follow him.

But would that mean her wings were deformed in some way?

Blizzard was compassionate and happy to see Humble was joining, "Ok good choice man. And don't worry, you've got protection from the 4th best swordspony in Equestria, Caliber, and me his best friend Ice Blizzard, which he and I are equal in skill level, you've got nothing to worry about ok?"

 

He noticed Kay leave out, "That guy's gonna get himself killed with an attitude like that. Come on let's go everypony." Blizzard then began to walk outside as well.

"If...if you want..." humble replied, spending to much alone, he doesn't get much practice speaking in the company of mares, but knows he shouldn't be forcing it upon them. "I...uh...don't do much flying anyways...." Looking at the other pegasus, he wonders why he said that, and that if he knew how to properly fly he wouldn't have this problem.

As Blizzard walked outside, Caliber followed him and they started to look around, "Hmm....I don't see anymore threats yet bro, but keep your eyes and ears open." He then said to Lightning, "Hey Lightning Striker! How are we gonna get to the forest without getting demolished by shadow pieces?"

"If...if you want..." humble replied, spending to much alone, he doesn't get much practice speaking in the company of mares, but knows he shouldn't be forcing it upon them. "I...uh...don't do much flying anyways...." Looking at the other pegasus, he wonders why he said that, and that if he knew how to properly fly he wouldn't have this problem.

Blizzard got into his fighting position, "Come on. I wonder where we gotta go from here. Does anypony hae any idea where the bad shadow things are supposed to be?" Blizzard then thought to himself, "Oh dear Celestia, if anything I hope Rarity and everypony in Ponyville is ok."

Kaymen , still sitting on the roof, starts poking his hoof into his ear. "Well, surprisingly enough, I live in there, but I never noticed anything like this going on...so I have no idea where we should go...but I'll make sure to point out whatever looks strange to me" he says, as he lies down

Humble smiled in return, part of it being happy that there are others looking out for him when he needed it, though mostly being worried that they're looking after him while they should be fighting....whatever they should be fighting. Also due to the fact that he could very well be walking into Tartarus for all he knows....

 

He walked out with Spellbind, some-what ready for whatever's to come.

Kaymen just looks angry as he stands there "how did they get past my...keen...WHAT ARE THEY EVEN DOING IN MY HOME ANYWAY!?" He stomps his hoof as he speaks "They better not hurt any of my bats..." He mumbles to himself "...Anyway, where do you think we should go...? I know paths from here, to the castle, to the river and everywhere inbetween. Maybe we can see what Zecora thinks..."

Blizzard spoke out, "I've gone into this forest and have come out of it about 30 maybe 35 times out of boredom, but never have I seen anything like this. We should be careful with these shadows around, step lively guys. Stay focused, stay alive....are we ready to get moving?"

caliber grinned. "you know it!" he said as he unsheathed his sword. it made a bell-like sound, and he readied it. "LETS GO!!" caliber couldn't wait to fight those shadows, it sounded like the ultimate training exercise. but...if the're shadows, then they came from living being, right? maybe...caliber'll find his own shadow...

Humble takes a quick second to look back at Ponyville, then at the forest. He considers how this might have gone for him if he just stayed behind, but knows that there's no turning back. Ponyville needs help and it seems he's actually taking part in it, nothing he expected in his visit here. Though whatever stood in the way of the town's safety, was unfortunately in the deep, dark, frightening abyss of a forest that stood in front of him. Taking a gulp, he said, "ready when you are..." in the most combat ready voice he could muster, which wasn't much.

"I'm always ready to go in there...I do live there after all..." Kaymen's bat starts telling him something "huh? When was this...? Why didn't you wake me up when...oh wait...you did...well, tell them they can come back as soon as we're done..." Kaymen flies up and into the forest, looking back and motioning for everypony to come in "Welcome to my home" he grins

Blizzard said to Caliber with his Maverick Variation on, "Normally I'd rush in with you buddy, but this time it's best we think before we attack. *conks Caliber's head* Don't wanna lose that noggin of yours do ya? We don't know whats going on here or who this is caused by, so I engaged my Maverick Variation to be more calm and strategic, so stay focused, stay alive ok?"

Still, knowing Hymn needed support, Spellbind walked next to him but a few inches ahead in an attempt to make him feel protected.

A pair of red glowing eyes peered from a nearby bush, in the forest. "​Ponies? Coming into the forest? This is unexpected. This puts my plans at risk. Bah, they will wish that they had not interfered" he thought. The pair of eyes drew back into the bush, disappearing.

Lightning Strike walks into the forest with the others, she asked them "do you think we should ask Zecora if she knows anything about this?" she walked over to Caliber, she asked him "so, what do you think is going to happen while we are in here?" lightning strike looked at Spellbind and pointed her head in the direction of Humble as if to say 'stay close to him, he could use the protection'

caliber nodded. "agreed, zecora usually knows whats going on in times like this." he continued walking. "and if theres one thing iv learned from traveling, its that in times like this, you never know whats gonna happen next."

 

he glanced at the others. it seemed that only him, ice blizzard, and lightning strike knew their way in a fight. he didnt know for sure, but the others probably needed to be protected.

as they came across Zecora's hut, Lightning Strike said "you guys go on in, im going to stay out here and keep watch, ill call if there is any trouble", just find out whats going on, if we can find out what it is, it may be easier to defeat them" even though Lightning Strike was nervous about being outside alone, she new she was doing it to protect her friends
