Roles reversed?

You all know how applejack takes care of her family, but what if Applebloom were the one to do it? What i'm thinking is, have their roles reversed for one day and let Applebloom see things from Appjack's. It can either be a dream or happen under certain circumstances(which i cannot think of). Just humor me guys, what do you think would happen?

To be honest I think the personality types are a good bit different.

If I see Applebloom as the elder sibling, I see her as the responsible, well-put-together and construction minded one. Big mac would probably take over the farm labor, and AJ would probably be the scrappy filly always trying to follow him and work despite being too little to do so. 

I dunno. I think an older Applebloom would pursue a very different role on the farm, honestly. She seems a bit more creative and thoughtful/curious, while AJ is very steadfast and hardworking. I can't really see her just taking over where AJ would normally be, as I think she'd find a different role better suited to her. Who knows, she may come up with ways to better streamline the farm, easing their labor and earning the admiration of her scrappy little sister.

 

Would be interesting to see, regardless.

 

EDIT: Kinda makes me wonder about Rarity and Sweetie Bell honestly... The little fashionista and the elder singer/musician or what have you.

That's a good point, actually. Never thought of it that way.
