Shes essentially a god, capable of controlling both the sun and the moon and commands immense power.

 

She's loving and benevolent to her subjects, that's true no matter what some fans say about her being a "tyrant" (which she isn't).

 

But just ask Discord (transformed into a statue, still aware and conscious for 1000 years) or Tirek (essentially trapped in the Equestrian version of Hell) how loving or merciful she is to those who try to harm her Kingdom or its subjects.

 

Not to mention, she could just command her legions of soldiers to deal with you if she doesn't feel like wasting her time.
