Background: Cali Flower works on a vegetable farm outside of Ponyville. She sells veggies that fillies might hate, but are really good for them.

Where Seen: Canterlot Palace

Background: Nightwing is a messenger for Princess Luna. He wears the armor of Luna's Palace Guard.

Colors: purple legs and muzzle. Body is green. Hair is same shade of green with red.

Where seen: Cloudsdale

Background: Mars is an astronomer.

Action: Looks into telescope on cloud.

Name: Sad Sack

Race: Earth Pony

Colors: Dark brown tail and mane (developing a bald spot on the top of his head), white with a touch of pink.

Where Seen: It doesn't matter; no one ever notices Sad Sack.

Background: Sad Sack's Cutie Mark is a tied leather sack with a frowny face on the front; a little tear dangles from one of the eyes.  He got his Cutie Mark one day when he tried to stand up to a bunch of jerks picking on other ponies.  Unfortunately, the ponies he was defending realized they didn't like Sad Sack, so everyone just decided to gang up on him.  Afterwards, he sank into a deep depression and gained that ugly Cutie Mark.  He falls down a lot.  He can't find employment in Ponyville because he can't do anything but be sad and regretful; there are very few employers hiring based on those criteria.

Line or action (if any): Casting his eyes downward.  Muttering to himself.

Line or action (if any): As Twi walks through the door, Wilhelm's saying "-ason to suspect that there is a new and undiscovered type of star called a puls-" At the sound of the door closing, Wilhelm turns around abruptly midsentence, sees Twi, hands a file folder to Celly, and curtly says "Good day, Miss Sparkle." before leaving.

Is Sad Sack by any chance....um...you?  I mean, I don't mean any offense at all.  I mean, I hope it's not, but I thought it might be.  I mean, Sad Sack sounds a lot like me, except for the cutie mark origin story, so...y'know....thought there might be a little hidden meaning there.

 

Ok, here's mine:

 

Name: Ophelia Valentine

Gender: Female

Race: Pegasus

Colors: Violet coat, two-toned magenta mane and tail.

Cutie Mark: A book and quill

Where seen: Castle Twilight

Background: A librarian from Canterlot, recently hired as the librarian of Castle Twilight.

Lines/Actions: Can be seen regularly shelving and organizing books, and saying phrases like "I've finished alphabetizing the section on archaic magics, your Ladyship,"  to which Twilight would respond, "How many times do I have to ask you to call me Twi?"  And Ophelia would say, "At least one more, your Ladyship."  Ophelia can often be heard humming beautiful melodies that echo through the castle halls.

Other notes:  Speaks softly.  Wears glasses.  Has osteogenesis imperfecta.  Walks with a heavy limp due to many leg breaks throughout her life.  (Sure, why not?  If I'm gonna do this, might as well make her interesting.)
