What happened to little Pewee the phoenix?

Taken from the MLP:FiM Wiki: 
 

 

In the beginning of  Just for Sidekicks, there is a small picture gallery of Spike looking after him. One picture depicts Spike sharing some ice cream with Peewee, and another depicts the carton ending up on top of Twilight's head, covering her in ice cream. The final picture shows Spike returning Peewee to his parents.

A shame Spike at your service removed peewee from the series in an unceremonious fashion. Would've loved it if they tried some episodes between Spike and him.

I disagree, actually. I was super sad at the end of Dragon Quest because I was worried about Peewee's parents. I'm happy they have their little chick back! (:

 

Maybe a Spike episode with Spike being upset over having to give back Peewee would have been nice, though.

I don't mind him returning to his parents as it can be a heartwarming idea. I'm complaining, but I just wish it were a full episode instead of what we got. Edited by Nuke87654

Did he go back to momma and papa phoenix? At the end of Dragon Quest spike took the egg home and it hatched. But what happened to him?

I ate it for dinner! :sneer:
