Then she realized, bursting out in laughter. "Now doesn't that sound familiar?"

Strong smiled and chuckled, "I thought you would've caught on" he said.

Ali stood up, saying "Now come on, we're going to Canterlot!"

Strong chuckled and said sarcastically "Oh joy, should I bring the silver and fine china?"

Ali rolled her eyes, and began walking the stairs down to street level.

The duo continued along on their journey, having to somewhat backtrack in turn of recent events, but they eventually arrived at Canterlot, after numerous pit stops and detours, and one case of autograph signing.

 

"Finally we're here. I can't wait to finally meet them, after so long!" Expressed Ali, slightly tearing up at the thought.

Strong smiled and playfully nudged her, "Come on now don't be getting all sappy on me" he said jokingly. "But really. I'm happy for you Ali".

"And I thank you for that." Ali said. "Come on, let's head inside, shall we? Lead the way, if you will?"

Strong smiled and took the lead as they headed to the entrance of Canterlot. Already they saw tons of fancily dressed unicorns walking all around.

Ali leaned forward and whispered in Strong's ear "I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those dresses. I mean, how can they stand to wear them 24/7?"

Strong merely shrugged, "Beats me" he whispered back, then smiled and playfully said "Aww little Ali never plays dress up?"

"Oh, shut up." Ali retorted, giggling slightly.

Strong chuckled, "So where do you want to begin this search?" he asked

Discouraged, Ali said "Well, I WAS thinking we could ask the bartender in the pub, but I'm not so sure this place will HAVE a pub."

"Well let's find out shall we?" asked Strong with a smile, and took off once more with Ali following.

As they walked, Ali looked up at Strong, a slight grin across her face. "I'll bet you five bits there's not a pub in this city." she gambled.

"Strong looked at her sly grin and couldn't help but grin back, "Make it ten and you're on" he said.

"Deal!" Ali replied, extending her hoof for Strong to shake.

Strong shook her hoof and off they went searching for a pub...

The closer the two got to the other side of Canterlot, the less expensive the buildings seemed to be, until they rounded a corner to see none other than....... a pub.

 

"Oh you have GOT to be kidding me..." Ali said, reluctantly forking over 10 bits to Strong.

Strong smiled smugly. "Ah don't feel bad. Maybe I can make this a double win. Come on, I know were only here looking, but drinks are on me" he said as he opened the door for Ali.

"Oh, gee, thanks, you're so generous." Ali said, being playfully sarcastic.

 

She walked in to a rather busy area compared to the semi-empty streets from which they had come from. Heading for the counter, she looked around, grateful to see that most of the ponies were minding their own business, and not looking at the two newcomers.

 

Ali and Strong reached the counter, and Ali, quickly pulling out the letter to check something, asked the barkeep "Have you ever heard of or seen a pair of ponies called Tara Paiper and Arty Sail?"

The barkeep looked at Ali, "Sorry ma'am, info is for payin customers only". Strong placed the ten bits on the table, "Two of the house regulars then" he said, the barkeep took the bits and went to get the drinks. "You're welcome" he said smiling at Ali

"Real typical, money being the main thing of worry in a city like this." Ali sighed, waiting for the barkeep to return.
