Learned that in the UK, people don't use air conditioning and Taco Bell food tastes different:o

AC is extremely rare in Britain, you are much more likely to encounter it in cars, but even then not all.

Clarification –
Cockney = north east London, or east London, a variation of it then extended into south Essex due to Cockney people being relocated to there after WW2. My accent is this, as I grew up in south Essex. :D
NB: actual cockney is usually thicker than the example in the video.

East Midlands includes Lincolnshire, where I live now. Adding the word 'mate' to ends of sentences is common, e.g. 'Ooh I dunno mate', and his example, 'I'd say to me brother "We better go for our vittles mate"', he then translates 'and off we'd go for our dinner, like' – vittles = victuals, any food stuff, origin, Latin. (To add extra confusion I think 'dinner' in this context means midday meal or 'lunch', not evening meal.)

Brummie = Birmingham (city), i.e. a native of Birmingham, accent of Birmingham.

Potteries – this must be a relatively new term for a region, which I only know of as Staffordshire (county) and including Stoke-on-Trent (city), probably includes Ironbridge (town) area etc.

Scouse = Liverpool (city), and Wirral area (county).

Mancunian = native of Manchester (city).

Pitmatic – must be another 'new term' I've never heard of before, but apparently defines the former coal mining area around Durham and Sunderland (cities), i.e. County Durham (county). See also:  We're Not Mackems (PDF)

Geordie = Tyneside (county), Newcastle (city).

Northumbrian = Northumberland (county, aka 'the North East').

Manx = Isle-of-Man, an island in the Irish Sea.

:D
