This is the results of me fiddling for an hour messing with layers to play with lighting effects. I honestly think that earlier on I had something that looked better than this but I'm not entirely sure what I had done at the time. Anyway, I ended up with this. Having never done fire before though, I like how I did the torch, reminds me a bit of Don't Starve.

 

 

Other then lighting, I kind of like this style of drawing the character. With a little practise I think I could get it looking pretty cute and its easy to do so -shrug- maybe I'll do more like it. Don't know yet.

Wasn't really my intention but I can definitely see it. Pony noses are weirdly difficult to do sometimes.
