She doesn't seem to have offensive magic. She can't do laserbeams and such. Her magic seems to be non-combative, like gem-finding and light telekinesis.

That sounds oddly classist and pejorative that no one can rise above the situation they were born to. Kind of out of place in this show's positive message.

 

Besides, the martial arts know no class, race, or gender, they belong to everyone and anyone willing to learn.

Ironically the kind of equality espoused by the old monasteries in which several martial arts forms was exactly why the Chinese Communist Government when they were establishing their power. Nobody else could be allowed to espouse equality, because that was the party's big PR schtick.

Well that also depended on the school and the master. Some were more selective, some were more inclusive.
