"Alright! lets get back to work!"

Scarlett does a fake happy face "Yay! It's time for social interaction where I ruin young colts and filly's dreams to uphold the laws of Equeatria. I'll be over here if you need be" she says before walking over to where the door is. She quickly casts a bit of magic over the door to check the ID's for her. Lazy Scarlett.

Aqua was already standing by Tender. She was already giggling at his excited expression again. " Why do you have to be such a giggle-fins?" She asked herself in her thoughts. Aqua couldn't help it though. It was only who she was. Aqua then grinned widely for Tender. "I'm on it!" Aqua saluted, still smiling.

Devil Chord chuckled. "Sure. But to be honest I don't know a lot about jazz guitar. Most of the jazz I listen to don't have one in it. It's mostly piano, drums, bass and brass instruments. About the only thing we use guitars for is blues songs. So far I was the only guitar player in the bad. But now you're here I don't have to do it all the time. When we play jazz I play the piano and sometimes bass.

 

But if you don't know a lot about blues I can teach you what I know about that." By then they made ti the back of the stage where they others were getting ready. DC put her guitar case near some mike stands.  She then opened it and pulled out her black and toxic green Les Paul. "Before we start I like to let off a few rifts to worm up. Maybe play a song better to my liking."

 

She sat in a shear next to er case and started tuning her guitar, while one of the stagehands help hook it up to an amp.

Tender smiled again as he saw a smile on Aqua's face. He hopped behind the bar and rang a loud bell. "Get your drinks! Happy hour starts now!" Tender said with joy. He looked out the big glass windows, rows of ponies stood in front of the hotel. He quickly made the drink for the ponies at the bar while swinging his back legs to the background music. Which reminded him,  ''Where are those musicians?"

@@Gloomfury Flamestreak set his guitar case right beside D.C's. He pulled out his all white Fender stratocaster. "Yeah its always good to practice what you like. No matter how 'colorful' it is." He said STILL remembering what he heard earlier. Flame noticed the interestingly colored guitar and recognised the model. "Les paul your favorite model huh. I Like the strat a little better." He added.

Seeing that no one needed her help. Diamond decided to head back to the desk in case someone needed help with their room or something. She wanted to decorate her desk a bit. So she took out her hoof made sculptures, and placed them on the desk. "There we go! That looks much better!" Said Diamond with a satisfied smile

Tender smiled again as he saw a smile on Aqua's face. He hopped behind the bar and rang a loud bell. "Get your drinks! Happy hour starts now!" Tender said with joy. Which reminded him,  ''Where are those musicians?"

Aqua trotted up to the bar and stood at Tender's side. She was smiling with excitement and because Tender had told her to smile in the first place. She couldn't help but feel a bit shy about her job as well. Aqua also happened to notice that there was no music playing. She leaned over towards Tender and whispered in his ear, "Um.. Do you happen to know where those musician ponies are?" Aqua had a look of concern.

"Well I met them a few hours ago, I suppose they are still practicing or setting up. Something like that. All I know is that they had fresh faces, new faces. They probably need to learn the routine around here first." Tender said with a smile as he poured a few more drinks. "I heard they were good though, so I'm looking forward to it."

"The strat is very nice. But I like Les Paul a little better because it's feels heavier and it can sound just as heavy. I also learned how to tune it's hardware whenever I feel like a different sound.  My dad knew a guy and I was able to get a customized one for a birthday present when I was 16. Been with me ever since." She looked at the guys in the band. "Alright guys, lets play a classic.

Diamond burst was sitting by the desk in the lobby. Waiting for someone who needed help or anything. She has re organized, and cleaned up everything twice, out of pure boredom. "This sucks" Said Diamond. She let out a sigh, she began shivering when she remembered her abusive past. She quickly shook her head. Now was not the time to let her emotions take control. She decided to head to the bar, because everyone was there, and it was after all her job to make sure everyone had fun. She came down and sat at the bar, she saw Tender, and decided to engae in a conversation with him. "Hey Tender, how is everything going?" Asked Diamond adopting a fake smile

"Well I'm great!" Tender said with a smile whiling tapping a few beers and giving it to the pony next to Diamond. The pony walked away with the cups of cider satisfied to his friends. Tender noticed Diamond was not so cheery as he. "Are you alright friend? Do you want a drink?" Tender said with a kind and soft smile.

"Well i'm great!" Replied the optimistic bartender. Good to see that someone was happy Thought Diamond. He seemed to have noticed that her smile was fake, so she immediatly dropped her smile. "Well to be honest i'm not feeling too hot right now. I just feel kinda useless you know? Like i'm not doing everything that i could" she let out a sigh. "Oh, and a blackberry cocktail please"

"Here you go." Tender said again with a soft smile. He pinned his hoofs between the bar and his chin. "So useless ey! How come?"

Diamond watched as the bartender swiftly whipped up her cocktail, and hoofed it to her. "Thanks" Said Diamond and took a sip of her cocktail. She let a smile cross her features when she tasted the drink. "Well i feel useless because, the only thing i have done is checking in like 20 ponies, and that's it! I'm supposed to be helping ponies and stuff like that" Said Diamond a bit disheartened "Sorry that you had to hear me ramble about my problems"

Diamond let out a geniune smile. "Thanks Tenders it means alot that you really think that i helped out today" said Diamond. She drank the whole Cocktail "But enough about my problems. Is everyone else holding up?" Asked Diamond. Concerned that someone needed help but she wasn't there to provide it

"After my shift ends, you could come and play cards with the rest of the staff if you want. If you have nothing else to do." Tender said walking around behind the bar, cleaning up the mess other ponies had made.

"Alright everypony, time to close the bar! Off you all go! Time to go home!" Tender said loudly. The ponies walked towards the exit slowly, some a bit annoyed at the early closing.

Diamond being the kind hearted mare that she is decided to offer her help. She levitated a towel "I'll clean the tables, and clean up anything extra i spot. While you wash the glasses, and the bar" Said Diamond with finalty and left to clean the tables. She levitated some more towels, and started cleaning

"Oh my dear! You are such a sweetheart!" Tender said with a big smile. He looked at Aqua, who was working hard! "Keep up the good work my love!'' Tender said with a cheer while grabbed all the glasses and mugs of the tables. He put them in the dishwasher that was design for bars and then put it on. "I'll clear that out later.'' Tender mumbled to himself. 'Alright, Diamond and Aqua, you finish up around here while I'll take shower. I smell like apple cider mixed with rum!" Tender said before he ran upstairs to the staffs floor.

Anna, of course, didn't react to attempts of trying to wake her. On her recent journey to becoming a professor, she had learned to get away with very little sleep. It obviously wasn't healthy for her or the baby, and ended up in her falling asleep in bad places due to her pure exhaustion. She snored, even drooled, in the weirdest position ever. Anna's face was planted into the couch, with her butt up in the air. It was probably because she couldn't sleep on her belly, so her body forced her to be propped up like this. Anna was a mess.

 

Eventually, a pony walked by and starting laughing pretty hard. This sudden loud belly laugh made Anna wake up startled.

 

"AAHHHH! PHOTOSYNTHESIS!!!!" She yelled in the middle of the lobby. Everypony looked at her funny. Her mane fell in front of her face.

 

Anna proceeded to stumble over to her giant boxes of equipment and try to push them towards the elevator... By herself. Now the pegasus seemed to be angry, fixing her mane and mumbling under her breath as she got into position to push her boxes. She had to get them out of the way before she could sign in, but Anna was having a really hard time

@@Gloomfury Flamestreak not knowing the song very well decided to wait until the song was finished to practice. Until then flame was content with tuning his guitar and listening. "I wonder what song I'm gonna play" he said quietly to himself. Almost instantly a idea popped in his head flame smiled he couldn't wait to get up there start playing

(Sorry for the late reply! Been out all day!! ^^

 

Silver decided it was time to take a small break from all the bag lifting and started to make his way towards the bar.

 

"How can so many ponies fit so much stuff in those tiny bags?"  Silver thought to himself while trotting along the hallways. He passed by a few guest along the way, but not many. A couple stopped to ask him where the pool was and he gladly pointed out directions. Other than that it's been slow day, besides the first few hours of opening and all the bag carrying.

 

Silver finally reached the bar and let his eyes wander a bit. First time he's got a good chance at looking at the room. Lights were dim, carpet was red, only a few ponies here and there.

Smiling. Silver walked up towards the counter and sat down on one of the open stool chairs.

 

"Ahh.. That's better." Silver let out a sigh of relief finally being able to give his sore hooves and back a rest from going up and down those flight of stairs. Silver looked around to see if the manager was around and was a bit concerned that if he found him taking a small rest he could get in trouble, but hoping that this would be a lunch break. Silver let the thought pass and decided to wait for some service for a small drink of water, and perhaps a bite to eat from the kitchen.

When the song was over, DC let out a happy sigh and cracked her hooves. "That was a nice warm up. Sadly we ain't allowed to play really loud and 'vulgar' stuff because the boss says so. I almost got fired my first day when I decided to play a song with cuss words in it. But I was was able to keep my job as long as I kept things clean." She shrugged.
