I have many more pictures, though I've been working hard on getting as accurate to the show as I can. So my imgur account is filled with quite a few reference sketches (in which I break down screenshots to get the proper guidelines and do my best to replicate them). So if anyone wants to see those, let me know and I'll post a link.

I've been working hard on getting as accurate to the show as I can.

 

Oh, why might this be? I know the feeling og wanting the showstyle because it seems beautiful in its' own glory, but wouldn't it be more interesting to experiment with a personal style? We have a lot of showstyle art out there, one of the best replicators being artists such as JungleAnimal. Though, when everyone tries to copy the showstyle, it does get a tiny bit boring, no?

 

I'm not saying your drawings are bad, they are actually really, really good! It's just, I would love to see what you could achieve with a personal style.

I understand what you're saying, and others have said the same to me. Some of my own style does slip into there from time to time.

 

I don't know... it's just a goal I've had since Day 1. I think I do it more for my own entertainment than anything. I honestly hope to make my own animations sometime this year; I've begun to familiarize myself with Adobe Flash.

Very nice, I like the style.

I could learn something from you.

What do you use to draw?

 

Mostly Photoshop and a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet. I want to use Paint Tool SAI, since a lot of people use that, but I've never quite gotten the hang of that one.

I understand what you said about wanting to get as close to Faust's art as possible. But your art is very nice as well, I like seeing your own style and interpretation of the characters. Again, very nice, you're so good, a very loose and comfy style :D
