"Haha, now let go. We probably shouldnt leave your marefriend hanging around with no company, should we?"

"A spell that allows one to walk on clouds, huh?" Electrobolt mused, wondering how soft clouds would be. "I think I'd like that very much. But yeah, one step at a time." When asked where he wanted to go, he paused for a bit. "You know, I'm still not sure..." he replied, trying to think of a good place where they could eat.

Cloud nodded and they headed back to where Lovely was waiting, Cloud gave a smile to his marefriend and kissed her, "Apologies for the wait my Love" he said

midnight smiled and just layed his muzzle on his coltfriends and waited for him to answer, "take your time." he smiled,

"i feel so much better today," he said with a smile "thanks to a special somepony."

Cloud nodded and they headed back to where Lovely was waiting, Cloud gave a smile to his marefriend and kissed her, "Apologies for the wait my Love" he said

 

"So anyway, what were you two up to before I happened by?"

"Then Ill let you get back to that. Im going to go get a hotel room, we can catch up later."

*Mercer flicked two fingers in a small salute and then took of towards ponyville's hotel.*

Lovely shrugged and laugh, "no problem, I understand it's a 'guy' thing". Lovely laughed, "I'd like lunch, I'm a little hungry. Also..." Lovely began, "do you think he got offended? Maybe he wanted to come, or something. I'd hate to make a bad impression." Lovely looked upset for a second then turned and kiss Cloud, it always made her feel better.

Electrobolt smiled when he heard Midnight say he felt better thanks to a special somepony and walked over, giving him another kiss. "As for eating..." he said. "Well, why don't we just go see what looks good? Besides, I could go for a little walk too..."

Midnight smiled "that sounds like a plan."

he waited to have electro by his side, just in case again and started walking, keeping a steady but slow enough pace so their both comfortable.

"i hear bon bon makes some really good sweets, why dont we go visit them, get a snack or something then look around for a place to eat." he tilted his head and smiled again

Electrobolt walked alongside Midnight, making sure he was able to support himself easily still. As they were walking at a steady pace, Electrobolt listened to Midnight's suggestion to visit Bon Bon's place for a quick snack. Smiling, Electrobolt nodded as he replied, "Sure, that sounds like a good idea."

midnight squeed a little bit, he had never actually been inside bon bon's shop, "this is gonna be so AWSOME." he grinned and nuzzled electros cheek, "ive never actually been inside, so i cant wait."

his pace stepped up a bit, but only a bit, didnt want to push himself too far.

Electrobolt chuckled as Midnight spoke, but when he nuzzled his cheek, Electrobolt began blushing once again. "Well, I think we'll be there soon," he responded, looking at the houses nearby. Eventually, they came across Bon Bon's house. "Well," he began. "Here we are. You ready to get your first peek inside?" He was smiling when he said that.

Midnight was practically jumping up and down, "yesyesyesyesyesyes."

he smiled at the teal mare as she opened the door to let her marefriend lyra out. "see you soon....." she turned and greeted both stallions with a warm smile "hello you two, here to buy some treats?"

midnight nodded with enthusiasm

"well then." she smiled "come on in."

Cloud returned the kiss and the two set off to find a place for lunch. "Offended? Mercer? Nah, he isn't. Besides, griffons don't... have the same diet as we do anyway. They soon began walking by a number of small cafes and restaraunts, "Anything catch your eye?" he asked.

Lovely spotted a quaint little muffin shop, with an outdoor patio. She was attracted by the pink and white colour combination, "how about there?" Lovely extended a hoof in the direct of the store. "Seems like a place a girl would want to be." Lovely winked playfully at Cloud.

Cloud gave a humorous sigh and chuckled, "Very well" he said with a smile. They both went to the patio and found a table for two. Cloud pulled out Lovelys seat for her to sit then scoot the chair in for her when she did, sitting down in his own seat once she got comfortable.

Lovely and Cloud ordered some carrot muffin cake. As they were waiting for there food Lovely spoke-up, "sorry if you're not ready to talk about this but. You talk about your father a lot and I was wondering about what happened to your mother." Lovely bit her lip, it took her quite a bit of courage to ask about such a personal thing.

Cloud gave a silent sigh that Lovely couldn't detect. He expected such to be mentioned. But he was comfortable with telling her. "Well... she uh... she died... a long time ago. She bled out when I was born... Her body wasn't strong enough to support her anymore..." Cloud looked down, a solemn look in his eyes. He never met his mother, and had only seen her once, in a picture.

Electrobolt chuckled as he saw Midnight jumping up and down and repeatedly saying 'yes' like a little schoolfilly. Upon seeing Bon Bon and hearing her ask if they wanted to buy some treats, Electrobolt, like Midnight, nodded. Upon entering the building after being invited, he asked, "So how have you been lately?"

She smiled "oh you know, its been a little stressful lately, lyra has musical practice all the time, she has a concert in a week or so, but weve been able to deal."

midnight was looking at all the sweets in the shop with wide eyes, it intreauged him, "whats this?" he pointed to a bucket that had a bunch of wraped brown squares.

"oh those," she chirped, "those are caramel squares....are you telling me youve never had caramel midnight?"

midnight blushed, "n-no....dont have many chances to try sweets."

bon bon gave a bright smile, "well, a bag of 30 squares is 1 bit."

Honey Dew had been gone from her house for a while, and when she returned nopony was there.

She wondered where they had all gone, and why.

And especially where FEAR had gone.

Did he even love her?

Or was the kiss just a joke?

Honey Dew began to cry and walk around her house, packing up her things.

Lovely bit her lip as an awkward silence filled the area. "I-I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine what it would be like to grow-up without a mother. My mother was never around much during my childhood, but at least I had one." Lovely stoked Cloud's cheek with her hoof, "I bet she watches over you everyday and is so proud of you." Lovely smiled.

Cloud smiled and laid his hoof over hers, "If so, then it would seem there are two angels in my life. Her...and you"

Electrobolt nodded when Bon Bon told him what had been going on recently. Then when he saw Midnight looking around the candy shop like a little filly, he couldn't help but chuckle. Seeing that he was looking at the caramel squares, he smiled. Those were always good treats to have. "We'll take a bag," he said as he pulled a bit out of his bag and handed it over to Bon Bon.
